Ask A Question Above, Get The Answer Below VI - Part 4

My policy on candy bars is I will yoink a piece if it's a multi-part bar like a Kit Kat or Twix, but if it's a single bar like a Hershey or Milky Way I'll leave it be. It's similar to my French Fry rule I'll yoink and get yoinked, that's a fundamental rule of the universe, and somewhere at sometime it evens out.

You're at a friend's place and they have left you alone for a few minutes (they went to the bathroom or are in another room on the phone) and you get a mighty thirst, they have 2 six packs of your favorite beverage, do you yoink a can drink it up fast and deposit it in the recycling OR do you wait and ask for a drink?

I go find them and ask them if I can have one with a can in my hand.

What do you like about your friends?

I like we have common interests but that they also have their own stuff they can get into, I like that a select few of them can be counted on when things get tough, always good to have someone watch your six. I like how we can joke around and banter without anyone getting weird.

What holiday traditions coming up that you're looking forward to?

Christmas - we are a BIG family but, somehow, Christmas it's only my mum/dad, my sister, my aunt/uncle and my baby-cousin (well, he's 27), kind of "intimate" and we have a good time together.

Do you celebrate Christmas? How?

When everyone was in close proximity we'd have a big dinner and all that... now I stop in to my parents with gifts, then step, repeat the process at my siblings, and go home and watch movies alone. Just another day with added obligations.

What do you think is going to be the first big event of next year?

Mmm... If we are lucky, we will be able to find the vaccine! Most probably the whole world will celebrate it, go out, catch the virus before getting their hands on the vaccine and get infected.

What was the thing you mostly got grounded for?

Being out after curfew which was 10pm and I still had things to do after that.

Did you ever own anything that had to do with your favorite cartoons?

No, never! Which is sad because there are lots of nice things ft. Sailor Moon.

Which fictional character would be the most boring to meet in real life?

The Economics Teacher played by Ben Stein in Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

What would be the safest fictional universe to live in?

The one where Supes is real, I guess.

How old is the most expired item in you fridge?

I think I've got some baking soda that was in there when I moved in quite some time ago, I should probably toss that out.

Do you haggle the price on things when the opportunity presents itself, how good are you at that?

No, I'm not good at it! BUT I guess that's because I don't try hard enough. Maybe.

Where is the most relaxing place you’ve ever been to?

When I lived in the Philippines we trekked out to our maid's family's home way the heck out in the middle of the jungle, and for not having much in the way of walls, running water or electricity the place was very cozy, the people were extremely chilled out and friendly, the food was out of this world, and the sounds of nature around us was amazing.

If you had to take a picture of something you think is beautiful, what would it be?

You.

What Embarrasses You The Most In Front Of Other People?

The biggest thing is when my Mom has her conversational level to 11, I'm a low talker and I don't really need everyone in a 20 mile radius to know what we're talking about, so holy heck Ma tone it down!!

What do you look for in a book? Author, cover art, topic, fiction/non-fiction, reviews..etc.

Title, cover and reviews! I had a Danielle Steel's novels-only phase and I'd read her books with great pleasure and the more dramatic they were, the better! Of course, me, being me... got bored and went after something new.

Last Lie You Told/Worst Lie You’ve Ever Told?

Last one, I told my sister I wasn't mad at her for ditching lunch.
Worst one, I don't usually go for broke on lies, they're mostly a tool for avoiding hurt feelings, little white lies they're called, if I can avoid drama I will. What I won't do is tell a whopper because those can turn on ya real quick and bite your whole azz clean off.

If you could put any person or character’s face on money, whose would it be?

Different painters, maybe? Like: here, take a Picasso for those sandwiches.

Do You Tend To Google Your Problems?

Hardly ever, I usually know what's going on and can guess well if I don't, Doctors waste years training for what I can do naturally.

How in tune are you with your family or friends, how long are you in their presence before you have read what emotional/physical state they're in?

As soon as I look at them. I'm very good at reading my people.

Have you ever illegally taken something across the border?

I had to think hard but I don't recall ever doing that, I've yoinked a few things in my day but used them in the same general area, I think.

How far over the legal line would you stray in an average situation versus an extreme emergency?

Define "extreme emergency" - I don't know! Most people would do almost anything depending on how ar you push them or how extreme circumstances they are in.

Are you good at forgiving people?

I am now, in my younger days I could hold a grudge like crazy but as time went by I could see that maybe it didn't matter as much. Mellowing out opened a lot of abilities that previously had eluded me.

What are your signature accessories?

Nothing too fancy:
  • Two rings: one of them is a large silver oval piece with a tiny clear crystal encrusted on it, it was a gift from my mum and sister for my 25th b-day and the other one is a silver Bulgari signet ring.
  • And my old watch dreamnight.png (1000×1000) (vteximg.com.br)
  • Small gold earrings (pearls)
Do you think you're brave?

No, I avoid conflict whenever possible, I won't throw the first punch no matter what, the weirdest stuff makes me freak out or break down... I used to be brave in my youth but time has stolen that from me.

What has time stolen from you?
