Nah, they might have cleaned it up for the special editions, but it was there, although very briefly.
Despite it's brief appearance it even had a toy in the Empire Strikes back line, well before Return or the Jedi or later cgi.

Yea, the end kinda pissed me off though. I just wanna know if Bane's consciousness survived or not. I needa get back into the SW EU the Bane books and Darth Plageuis are the last ones I read.
