Never really saw a feature that inserted scenes for you, maybe that's because I just like watching the movie and skip pass the extra stuff.

Unless there is a director's cut, it would be silly to imagine that the Blu-rays/DVDs have some extra scenes inserted within the film.

So....you would think if Mary Jane never showed up that Gwen Stacy would stay alive? That's weird thinking. More characters are needed to keep a series going fresh, plain and simple.

Yah...no. That's not gonna happen. Peter spoke to Gwen. If Peter stayed ignoring Gwen and keeping her away, I could see Gwen trying to win Peter back, but everything seemed just fine at the end of TAS-M.

It should also be noted that the rest of the deleted scene in the sewers with Ratha is more of an alternate scene to the one we saw in the movie, where Peter finds Connor's computer on revealing his plan.

Hating her/ignoring her? Yah...that's not gonna happen when a girl is actually talking to Peter, take for example at the beginning of TAS-M.

None of that even matters. There was always going to be a sequel anyways, so the film still had to move on and in this case, at the very end, Peter and Gwen got back together.

By now we saw three of these.

Ehh....on this, I think it would be best to compare it to The Incredible Hulk. A film that was okay by all standards but would definitely be way better with the deleted scenes added back into the cut that would only develop many characters more and stretch the film out where it doesn't seem like it's rushed. But, as I said, seeing as how both films were okay by all means, we'll most likely never get a director's cut. All I am hoping is that the sequel takes some liberties to address these deleted scenes, such as bringing back an alive and well Dr. Ratha to act, once again, as Norman Osborn's "dog". And I would even be totally fine if we were to see Martha and Billy Connors in the sequel. Maybe give a reason for why there weren't there in the first film's events...maybe Martha's been separated from Curt for some time and they've returned from Florida after the whole Lizard debacle? Would be cool to have a scene of Peter talking to Billy about losing fathers which, even if not dead, Curt is still locked up in a prison(or institution if you wanna go by the video game's story).

Daredevil was obligated to release a director's cut because of how bad the theatrical cut was.

And Spider-Man 2? I really don't know why there was a director's cut as the theatrical cut was fine. The movie that needed a DC the most was Spider-Man 3.

^I definitely want Curt Connors to have a presence in the upcoming movies. It is unlikely, but he would be a little farther from dead if what we saw in TASM isn't the end of his story.
