thats the thing i dont mind if u hate on tasm. Its all fun anyways. Im not offended if you do. Bane looked all sobby because of talia. Dont give me that because of his mask bs. Lol
Mask bs? You mean the bs that states that the drug he inhales from his mask that pushes back the pain? That bs? Yah, total bs for sure. It's not like we saw him groaning in pain beforehand, plus the fact that Talia had to tell the emotional background of Bane. All of that doesn't equate to Bane's crying; you're right, Bane's such a *****
Oh, don't get me wrong, I liked ASM. It's a good movie - but it's far from the greatness everyone involved with it made it out to be.
Yah, it's quite funny how much love TAS-M seems to get when it's not even that great, or even matches Raimi's first two Spidey films in quality, imo. It only beats Spider-Man 3, but that was predictably going to happen; it just had to.
same way i feel for Not Quite Rises.
At least use the actual title now besides trying to have some backhand comment for your reply...
The problem for me is that TDKR could never really grab my undivided attention until the last 20 or so minutes. The movie was just so damn boring and dragged on forever. The pacing was absolute ****.
The pacing was an issue for the entire trilogy, but I wasn't bothered by it since Batman Begins. It's typical Nolan fashion with the pacing.
Oh and Bane and Talia's deaths were some of the worst deaths I've ever seen in cinema, I tell you what.
Talia - while an awful "death face", it was meant to be comparable to her father's death and the comparison is obviously there, even if painfully placed.
Bane - great character > anti-climatic death. That's how I see it.
I'd say TDKR's worst pacing was the beginning - which is understandable, it's how I feel about BB/TDK's also.
However, if you wanna get into pacing issues, that's okay. I felt the same about ASM- everything whizzed on by too fast. When you're movie is 2h 15 mins. and feels too short, that's an awful thing.
Agreed. The pacing, if one wants to consider an issue, has been there since Batman Begins.
And in TAS-M's case, certain scenes needed to be developed or explained more, rather than quick scenes for Nolan's films where we still are given explanations.
Oh please tell me where bane did all of those evil things for talia. Don't give me the "he loved me" line, because he did not love her in that way.
Bane & Talia were both different portions of the league of shadows
Theatricality = Bane
Deception = Talia
Both did their things on their own accord, just as a team.
There's your other perspective on Bane.
I will agree, Cottilard's acting for her death scene sucked, lol.
For anyone who doesn't get the bold will obviously rant and rave over Bane and Talia in TDKR.
Come on dude bane hit that.
No, "dude", Bane didn't "hit that". It was a brother/sister relationship.
How does one think otherwise? Show me in anywhere during TDKR that would justify they had something more?
So thankful for Nolan taking over Batman and turning the ship around.
Spidey will get his chance sooner or later.
