I thought Burton liked Returns more so than 89?
Tim Burton had mixed emotions from the previous film. "I will return if the sequel offers something new and exciting", he said in 1989. "Otherwise it's a most-dumbfounded idea."

ill stop this madness with this....AWESOME!

What the hell happened to this thread?
So, anyways...that Bluray 3D review is not too bad at all. 4/5 on picture, 5/5 on audio and 4/5 on extras. That's actually really good. I like how the reviewer gets into hating on the movie...it's like, just shut up man and review the quality of the Bluray itself. I saw the movie in 3D and it wasn't all that great for the most part. The only real good parts were the ones featuring Spidey and the few POV shots that were used.

Didn't Webb mentioned at least three or four POVs during the film? You have to wonder why those were taken out of the final cut as well since we only got quick snippets of a couple POVs.
The problem for me is that TDKR could never really grab my undivided attention until the last 20 or so minutes. The movie was just so damn boring and dragged on forever. The pacing was absolute ****.
Oh and Bane and Talia's deaths were some of the worst deaths I've ever seen in cinema, I tell you what.

Have you had an opportunity to view 3D in a Home Theater environment? If not, I highly suggest you do. 3D in a home environment is different than what you see in the theater. Granted, some 3D is just bad 3D, no matter what environment you watch it in. If you think Avatar's 3D was good in the theater, just wait till you see it at home. See, I wish you guys lived near me. I would invite you guys over here to experience it. Also, one of the better 3D movies that's out right now is Hugo. The 3D is spectacular in that movie, IMO. One last thing, 3D gaming is definitely where it's at. Talk about being immersed.When Spidey is falling in the POV shot I felt like I was falling as well. It's one of the few times 3D has got a reaction out of me.
My favorite 3D shots;
1. Avater (pretty much the entire movie)
2. Spidey POV
3. Dredd 3D -slow-mo'
Other than that haven't been impressed by 3D, at all.

That's not what I asked. I asked if you have had the opportunity to view it in a home environment. I am assuming, now, that you haven't.I wont get 3D for my home until they make it without the glasses.
If you only saw TDKR once, I highly recommend you to give it another chance. I felt the same as you first but after my second viewing I loved the film and didn't feel those problems at all
Bane was crying because of the pain that was seeping into the mask, combined with the fact (which is rather obvious) that it's a culmination of his feelings throughout the movie. Look again at the position he's sitting in when he says "five...by my calculation"...doesn't look to happy there. Just because ASM was the big disappointment that it was doesn't mean you need to hate on other (and note, better plotted/written) comic book movies.
Oh, don't get me wrong, I liked ASM. It's a good movie - but it's far from the greatness everyone involved with it made it out to be.
Oh please tell me where bane did all of those evil things for talia. Don't give me the "he loved me" line, because he did not love her in that way.
Bane & Talia were both different portions of the league of shadows
Theatricality = Bane
Deception = Talia
Both did their things on their own accord, just as a team.
There's your other perspective on Bane.
I will agree, Cottilard's acting for her death scene sucked, lol.
