Hey everyone, just wanted to gage everyone's opinions and fears on ubisofts soon to be film franchise. But first a little background to explain myself
I've loved the game series and have followed them ( not the psp or side stories ) with anticipation for the next big setting. I really loved the story that was being told as I'm a fan of soft science fiction types, that don't necisarily need to explain every detail, but make sense in their own little world.
So I managed a while back to complete AC 3, and found the ending to be blegh.... It was from then on ( especially with how ubisofts have responded and marketed recent titles ) that show me that they're not really caring for a "story", and have opted for infinitely milking it's gameplay and settings.
So my fear is that assassins creed the movie will ultimately be a shell with nothing to offer but action scenes regurgitated. You know what I mean? If not please let me know your opinions as I love me a debate
