So wait how many DLC is there for Assassin's Creed 2 now?

3 really

Battle of Forli
Bonfires of the Vanities
Bonfires of the Vanities w/ the maps that were in the Limited Edition

Yeah, pretty much. Forli is skippable though. Should have been 160/$2 or free.

I'm curious as to if it was even possible for them to do that. I've been told that there isn't a LIVE arcade game lower than what the DLC was priced (I don't know if that's even true, though), and with DLC that does provide new cutscenes and voice work done...it'd be hard to see them give it for free.

Rock Band songs are 160/$2. I believe the MUA/2 downloadable characters were also the same price. LittleBigPlanet costumes are the same. The Batman: Arkham Asylum DLC is free as is inFamous' DLC. So yes, it is possible for them to charge that. Add to it that it lasts 40-60 min and you can't replay it once you beat it, it really should be cheaper or even free.

It was cheap of them to leave out 2 chapters in the middle of the story, too.

I think added missions, with cutscenes is the difference between this and all of the ones you mentioned.

Doesn't LIVE have rules too? I think I've heard that they have a hold on what kind of DLC can be set as free.

Please, don't make excuses for them. All the cutscenes were run on the in-game engine; and it's not as if the graphics are as sophisticated as Uncharted 2 where there's really no difference between in-game and pre-rendered.

I'm trading my 360 copy for a PS3 copy. Looking forward to getting 100 feathers all over again

I'm not really making excuses, I could care less. I'm not siding with the corporation, here.

I just think that Xbox Live has they're **** together to make sure they make money out of DLC. We've all heard of the instances where developers tried to make certain DLC free but were forced to make people pay for it.

I just wonder if it was up to Ubisoft to charge it or anything.

Then again, with the ******** they pulled on us with holding the ending ransom for Prince of Persia...

I'm not buying it twice. I'm trading my 360 copy for the PS3 copy with someone on another forum since they sold their PS3. They also threw in $5 since I was on the fence about trading it.

I barely play my 360 anymore and the next one will have online and I like having every game of a series on one console.

I've been reading up on Imperial Russia lately. That would be a really good time period for a sequel. You could set it pretty late, too.

Talk about a large bump. Anyway, I bought this game a few days ago and it is very addicting. It improves on all the complaints I had with the first one.

For 30 bucks, I'd say I got a damn good deal.

I just picked this up yesterday at Gamestop because it was on sale for $29.99. I have to say, so far it's a VAST improvement over the first one. Everything just seems to be much better this time around. I love the fact that Da Vinci supplies you with weapons and inventions, and I'm hoping to be able to use his flying machine. I just got to Venice and escorted the girl that got shot with the arrow to her boat. I don't know how much is left, but I love upgrading the armor and changing the costume.

I'll definitely download the new maps once I've finished with the game.

So the DLC IS or ISN'T worth buying? I can get the bundle for $12.99. Yay or nay?

The DLC is maybe 2 hours of content with nothing really new added to the game. It's more AC2, and if 2 hours is worth 13 bucks to you, then go for it.
