Assassins Creed: Rogue

I wonder which famous people of that era will appear in assassins creed rogue?

Story-wise, we know Haytham's in there, and I wouldn't be surprised to see a very young Connor and his tribe; an outside chance of seeing Aveline from "Liberation"; maybe a younger George Washington; a good chance we'll see Captain James Cook's early years in the Royal Navy (before he became famous for his Pacific explorations); wouldn't be surprised to see the exile of the Acadians feature prominently in the story, including folk heroes like Beausoleil and Evangeline; but mainly people who were really only "famous" in the context of the French and Indian War --- William Pitt, Edward Braddock, Robert Rogers, Gen. Montcalm, Jeffery Amherst, James Wolfe, etc. It'd be *really* cool if they could get the rights to some of James Fenimore Cooper's literary characters and we could see Shay's story intertwine with some of Last of the Mohicans.

How frightfully exciting! I wasn't exactly excited about unity and I was a bit worried I would have to wait a whole year before I find out what the next assassins creed game is that I can get excited about but now I know about this I'm super excited.

I wonder if they'll have hunting in this one?

I wouldn't be surprised to see both hunting and whaling return for "Rogue," as both would be appropriate for the setting and era. And, just to piss the environmentalist crowd off even more than AC3's Bambi-hunting and AC4's whaling expeditions, maybe they'll include minigames for clubbing baby seals and polar bears. :oldrazz:

One thing I really hated in AC3 was how if you got on a horse and tried to flee, the enemies would shoot and kill your horse. Like what did it ever do to you? Shoot me, if you have to, but leave the ponies alone.

They've already confirmed that you can hunt narwhals and a now- extinct cousin of the penguin.

And when it comes to famous people showing up, I'm half convinced that you may not kill any famous Assassins. With the exception of Machiavelli, most actual Assassins have been original characters, with the rest generally occupying the area of allies.

What I'm curious about is that since it seems Shay's the reason the Assassins are down to Achilles, does that mean we'll see a scene where Haythem and Shay decide to leave him alive? Because this is Haythem before he finds out that his English boss murdered his father and sold his sister into slavery, and I could see him being young and confident enough to leave Achilles alive as a lesson and a show of mercy, since he hasn't quite realized he's been indoctrinated yet.

We still can't get enough of the nordic naval-themed Assassin's Creed Rogue. Thankfully, Ubisoft hasn't run out of screenshots.

New Assassin’s Creed: Rogue Trailer

Going rogue has never looked so good, because Ubisoft has released a slick new trailer for Assassin’s Creed Rogue, the new game in the series built for the PS3 and Xbox 360. It hits stores on November 11, the same day the next-gen

Assassin’s Creed Unity will land on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. For years Shay was a faithful follower of The Creed, loyal member of The Brotherhood, and practitioner of their deadly trade. Then everything changed. Betrayed by the Brotherhood he had served for so long Shay set out on a mission to make them all pay. In Assassin’s Creed Rogue Shay follows his own creed and turns from Assassin to Assassin hunter in order to hunt the Assassins to the ends of the earth with one goal: Eliminate the Brotherhood. Set in the middle of the 18th century during the Seven Years’ War, Assassin’s Creed Rogue gives players new locations across North America to explore, including the frozen North Atlantic, the Appalachian River Valley and New York.

Urgh, I hope my 360 is still at my parents place. I'm dying to play this. I might even preorder it.

I wonder if you can ride polar bears or do anything other than kill or pat animals?

Ride polar bear's ???? lol that would be awesome so far only the legend of Korra has that though .

Well, looks like we've got Adewale and Achilles both in the game.

This game will pass through 1758...Adewale was murdered in 1758...main character we play us hunts assassins....Adewale is an assassin...

I do not like where this is going.

your freaking out too early this all happened before conner started crawaling and talking or became a assassin and this dude was long dead when Conner became an Assassin and became a captain him self.

Adewale will be fine . Especially if he's assassin creed 3 protagonist's first mate & this all takes place before that, as they stated. And Conners dad is still alive for most of this as they keep stating and show casing as this man's first mate.

There's no way it was Shay the killed Adewale. He'll have run in (or a few encounters )with him. But won't be the one that waste's him .

Adewale wasn't Connor's first mate, he was Edward's.
who thought Connor to be a captain then? and how were we introduced to Adewale & as whom? AC3 they stated in dev video's that Adewale was his first mate showing Connor the ropes to the ship and they did indeed say that.

lol I'm getting it confused though it was Edward . I better look some stuff up. been a while

I was gonna say haha.

If it helps, I don't remember much of AC3. A game that did so much and wound up being fairly forgettable outside of Haytham.

I am going to wait for the inevitable 8th gen port of this.

Or maybe I will buy it to give my PS3 a good send off.

yeah it seems inevitable now with the PC version announced

Call me crazy, but the story in this game has me much more interested than Unity's story. Sure the game isnt breaking any new ground in game design, but that story trailer got me very excited to play the game. There's something very cool and fresh about the story.

You're not the only one who thinks that.

When I heard about unity I was like "oh well I can probably skip this one" but from the moment I heard about rogue I loved it straight away
