The Avengers Assemble! Midnight showing

Hello, new to the forum... this is my first time starting a thread... hope it's a proper post.

Thought this would be a good place for fans going to the midnight and weekend shows to discuss how they'll be spending tomorrow..... anyone dressing up? getting there early and making a night out of it?

A few of us are getting there early and soaking it all in.....

And for those who can't make it tomorrow, any plans for your viewing?

Getting to the theater at 10 for sold out midnight IMAX 3D showing. Wearing my Avengers shirt. Driving home. Going to sleep. Waking up then picking up another friend to see Avengers with in D-Box at 3:30.

I'm getting there early. Heck really early. Doing the Marval Movie Marathon tomorrow. Never sat that much at a theater before but for this movie I think I can hang in there. It's always cool watching a movie like this around comic fans. Especially for the Midnight showings.

I would've loved to have gone to the marathon.... agree about the comic fans as well.... they just get what everyone else is feeling... pure excitment

Yes that's the only reason why I'm doing it. Just to watch these movies with the fans. I might not be able to feel my butt by the end of Avengers but something like this doesn't come along all the time. Should be fun.

Wish we had Marathons here in the uk, (maybe there was and I just couldnt find them).

Me and my friend watched every movie on blu ray before going to the cinema. Was great fun.

Are the marathons including The Incredible Hulk??

Haha I was just going to make a thread like this once I got out of work, beat me to it :P

Anyway tomorrow is going to be a big day for me and a bunch of my friends. I got a hold of the Avengers Assembled 9hr megafilm and I plan on playing it on the big screen TV in my apartment while me and my friends sit around watching, chatting and getting hyped as Hell for The Avengers. Then once that's over (or whenever we decide to leave since we've all seen these movies multiple times lol) we'll be heading to our local theater to get in line for our 2D midnight showing. THEN we'll be going to Denny's across the street to discuss the movie and stuff our faces (a CBM midnight tradition).

This also will be one of 4 times I'll be seeing it this weekend. I'll be seeing it again Friday & Saturday night and one of those will be in IMAX 3D and I'll be seeing it Sunday night with my co-worker for D-Box.

Words can't explain how hyped I am for this movie. t:

Yes they are doing the Incredible Hulk as far as I know. I had asked the Ticket girl about what time to line up and she just told me to come early since they are expecting around 1,200 people for the Marathon. I know they will be doing this on 4 screens. I'm Assuming they are using the biggest rooms at the theater I'm going to.

I reserved seating for IMAX 3D, so won't need to wait in line...thank god for reserve seatings in Toronto, Canada...

I wish my local Imax theatre had reserved seating. I'm going to have to get in line around 9:30 to make sure my group gets good seats.

Reserved seating rules! Unfortunately don't have that anymore. But had it when I lived in LA. No worry about needing to get there early, just go.

Here? Thirty minutes before? I'm in deep trouble. There? I can get there three minutes before and still have my kick ass seats!

I bought my tickets already, and now I'm just waiting on my friends to see if they can come.

I wish I could go to the midnight but I gotta get up early Friday. I am going to see it Friday Night though (need to get my tickets now they are selling out fast) and then again on Sunday afternoon. Then I plan to see it a third time mothers day weekend.

I'm definitely going to the midnight showing and getting there at least 2hrs early. My friend was kind of enough to get tickets in advance
