I am not sure if anyone is interested, the last contest I suggested didn't go over so well, but I had an idea for a new art contest.
Redesign a comic character as a Herald of Galactus.

So, for examples, what would Ultron look like as a Herald of Galactus?
What about Black Adam? Or Superman? Maybe you can redesign Madman or the Flaming Carrot as a Herald, or how about the Tick or Hellboy? Maybe you would like to redesign Edda Candy or Foggy Nelson. Or you could go with Spider-Man or Green Lantern, or Darkseid.
The idea would be to take a character that already exists like Spider-Man and design what he/she might look like as a Herald for Galactus.
So, if you are intersted, Draw a Herald of Galactus!

I'm not really sure what it means.. what changes when someone becomes a herald of galactus?

I'd guess it's more along the lines of mix any superhero with similar features to a pre-existing herald. Like make a Superman with Surfer's shiny skin, maybe have the S logo engraved in the chest, Supes wavy hair (still silver) on top, and holding a board. Or Thanos on fire like Firelord (think that's his name).

I'll be watching this thread from time to time tho. If enough ppl do it it could produce some interesting looks.

The idea was sort of take a character, pre-existing, like Superman or Spider-Man and draw how you imagine they would look as a herald. Use your imagination.
For example Silver Surfer was a bald guy, looked human, was turned into a silver man with a surf board.
Terrax looked more human as well, he was changed into looking more like a rock guy.
Its sort of an excuse to be as creative as you want.
For example you can take Thor, make his hand a giant hammer, give him a cape of fire, skin of rock, and make him ten times his normal size. The possibilities would be endless, but the rule would be it has to be a pre-existing character and has to be cosmic (somehow).

Minor nerd nitpick with that pic, but Johnny had Sue's powers when he was Galactus' herald....so you know, him flaming on is kinda wrong.

I don't know. I was just throwing the idea of a contest out there. Someone else should run it.
