Who do you guys think she be everybody's favourite, granny looking, aunt?!

Helen Mirren, Meryl Streep and Diane Keaton are fine with me. I voted for Mirren though, because I'm a healthy male and she is Helen Mirren

I'd be very happy if they managed to get either Streep, Thompson or Lee Curtis.

Helen Mirren.

I always wanted her for Leslie Thompkins in a Batman movie.

You guys like care about how hot she is rather then how good the actress is?

Not really :o

What I like most about Helen as May is - she gives the classic elderly looking quality, but gives an attractive and youthful vibe. Like Ultimate May, she could kick ass. If Sony were to go ahead with that Agent Aunt May film or even if Marvel wanted to include her in Agent Carter, you know a may played be Helen would've been a badass back in her day.

It's true that Helen may be a badass, but she's still an actress who is more than capable of adapting to the motherly figure.

Voted for Streep, but Thompson would also be great.

Still think Mirren`s a little bit too badass to play sweet granny-mannered Aunt May.

Diane Keaton is my first choice from the list, and Goldie Hawn my second.

What about Jane Fonda?

Should have included her :(

Even though she's 77, she doesn't look or feel it.
It's not about how old the actress is. Just because, say, Helen Mirren is 69 or Jane Fonda is 77, doesn't mean May has to be that age as well.

certainly never EVER Sally Field again... everytime I see her, my mind goes back to her old Flying Nun tv series...

Bonnie Bedelia from Parenthood.

I honestly think Helen Mirren is a no brainer. I mean she has a brain, but she is a good choice.

Yeah.

I don't want May just to be all cute and fluffy. She has to have a serious side too. Helen balances out both worlds of 616 and Ultimate.

Vote, ya swines a hell! :argh:

90% of 'em are too young!:argh:

I think Mirren has the age/look down pretty well. I do think as others have speculated, she may be a tad 'rough around the edges' for Aunt May. I guess she could tone it down (she is an actress after all) but, I've never thought of May being that 'tough'.(For lack of a better term)

Never Say Never!

I like that song....

But never say never, BvS :D

She would nail the role without question, it's just whether 74 is too old. Of course the original trilogy Aunt May is 87 now and going strong it seems :) On a sidenote, this may be sacrilegious to some, but I liked Sheen as Ben more than Cliff Robertson who is 88 now BTW
