Why is there such a long break between the first two episodes and the third? I think the next one is scheduled to air July 7. That's over a month between episodes. Will the first two repeat on Disney XD?

That is a good question

the first two eps were merely the PREVIEW to the series which starts weekly on July 7... simple...

Expensive preview, cheaply animated episodes
Maybe the rest will have better animation

You make it sound like anyone with common sense could figure that out. But why would anyone assume it's a preview if they thought it was the actual series starting last week? I haven't kept track of start dates or followed any of the development of the series. I just saw the first two episodes were airing so i thought the series had started.

Notice how there hasn't been any announcement made about the ratings for the preview. This MIGHT mean that the 2 part preview didn't do so well in the ratings.

because it was constantly thrown about on the internet that the first two eps were to be previews on the date that it was aired while the debut was to start in July... that news has been on the 'net for at least the last couple of months...

all it takes is a computer and a bit of initiative and you would have known, been appropriately informed and up to speed...

Let's face it, Iron Man is a better leader. He was the original founder and leader of the Avengers. He beat Captain America during Civil War. All evidence points to Stark being the superior leader.

Personally, movie style Tony doesn't work as team leader. It kind of dilutes the character in the same way it did to Wolverine in WATX. You can't be both the rebellious hot shot and the leader simultaneously.

Why not? I think enough leaders these days are rebellious enough to make the idea plausable

The stunt he pulled in the very first episode, abandoning his entire team to race off by himself, shows exactly why he shouldn't be the leader.

Captain Kirk did it. Captain Jack Harkness of Torchwood did it.

I don't know much about Star Trek beyond some episodes of the original series and the two newer movies (highly recommend STID), but doesn't Kirk have specific training for leading the Enterprise crew?

He may not do everything by the book but he was still appointed captain by a highly lauded organization. The Stark seen in the first two episodes of AA did nothing to earn leadership rank. Just the opposite, actually. That can change later on but most viewers over 12 years of age will know that the only reason Cap isn't the leader is because he doesn't have a billion dollar movie franchise.

That's not the argument. The fact is, Kirk made a whole career in TV and movies of being the rebellious hot shot.

In Avengers Assemble, Stark was the one that brought the whole team together after they went their separate ways for a time.

And my point is Kirk earned his rank. Just because you bring a group of people together doesn't mean you should automatically be their leader.

Stark got the team back together but had no legit plan and left them alone on the battlefield. Not what a leader makes.

It's been promoted as a preview throughout almost every piece of media it's appeared on. DisneyXD commercials, internet press releases, ads in comics, etc.

I still hope for better animation in later episodes

Though I must agree that movie Tony, as he has been portrayed, couldn't work as a team leader, he doesn't even seem like he would want to be leader, If given enough time to mature then he could definitely be a legendary and confident leader

Man why couldn't AA use that animation, I would have been very happy with that.

I hope Marvel get the guys who made those sequences to work on a show sometime in the future, FF or X-Men would be nice!
