Not sure if Rain Man, I mean Michael J. Fox, would be up for this.

That's awful and unnecessary. :cmad:

Pretty sure he was refering to a Rain Man who's arms and hands shake all the time. Not a raging black boxer.

Rain Man didn't shake all the time...he was just autistic. MJF suffers from Parkinson's disease like Muhammad Ali does. that's why both of them are constantly shaking.

Just watched that Microsoft/BTTF thing and Lloyd is brill, one thing is certain, he could still do it imo.

I think I would be open to the idea of of a 4th, I mean if it was gonna be dealt with properly but I don't think one is really necessary..

BTTF theme parody song it's pretty good.

im trying to think of a young guy nowadays who could pull off mjf

shia comes to mind

I say CGI the film using the tech they used for Beowulf...bring back the cast to voice act. Keep it in the 80's era. :)

Yeah the cartoon is sorta "out there" but it's BTTF so I'll watch it.

To be honest with you I don't even see the sense in having actors anymore. I mean seriously, I have doubts as to whether or not the movies we're seeing now have real actors or c.g.i.. I hope this means we will finally get:

Transformers vs. G.I. Joe vs. Alien vs. Predator vs. He-Man vs. Batman vs. Superman vs. Wonder Woman vs. M.A.S.K. vs. Freddy vs. Jason vs. Go- Bots vs. Thundercats vs. Back to the Future vs. Terminator vs. Star Wars vs. Star Trek vs. Steel Magnolias

heheh
Maybe not that far...I mean Go-bots? come on now..<grin>

But really...the kind of CGI that can be done nowadays can make anything possible...all the old heroes, the classic films can be brought back using CGI. Heck, there could be a new Star Wars movie that takes place right away Jedi where the actors haven't even aged...it's an amazing idea that I really hope takes root in hollywood.

If you like the prospects of a new Star Wars c.g.i. movie then I'm sure you would like what c.g.i. could do for Star Trek.

Here's an example of the possibilities:

I can't help but think that mankind is on the brink of something major after seeing this and letting my mind explore the possibilities.

bleh...i'll have to watch it when i'm not at work. Stupid firewall.

Gale talks Back to the Future 4
Date : May 27, 2008 Writer : "Caffeinated" Clint Morris

You’d think with Indiana Jones back on the big screen, and Rocky and Rambo only just sitting down after their triumphant returns last year, that Doc Brown may be about to dust off the time-machine for one more trip “Back to the Future”?

Not so, says writer/producer Bob Gale.

Gale, talking at the 5th Annual Celebration Exotic Car Festival benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation, opened the floor with, "Let me answer one question before anyone asks it, which is, 'Is there ever be a Back to the Future Part IV?'", Gale began, before answering, "No." (According to BTTF.com)

Gale’s announcement didn’t go down well. The crowd apparently went a little sour on him upon hearing that Marty and Doc wouldn’t be back.

"Well now, wait a minute now. We've all seen sometimes where they make one too many sequels and you say, 'Maybe they shouldn't have done that.' I'm not going to name any names of movies, but you know what they are!," quipped Gale.

"But more importantly, as I'm sure you all know, Michael J. Fox is not in the best of shape with his Parkinson's," he went on to explain. "The idea of making another Back to the Future movie without Michael J. Fox — you know, that's like saying 'I'm going to cook you a steak dinner and I'm going to hold the beef.' You can't do that."

"The filmmakers - we all love the three Back to the Future movies just the way they are," added Gale. "I'm sure Universal would love it if we were to say to them, 'Hey, let's do another one,' but we don't think we could ever make a fourth one that would live up to how great the first three are, so we're going to leave well enough alone."

Prediction : Within the next 5 years there’ll be a “Back to the Future” remake in the works. And you know I’m right.

I want to buy Gale a beer.

I'd like to see MJF make a cameo, sorta like Christopher Reeves from that episode of 'Smallville', it could work out if it's smart and slick like the original(s).

BTTF works as a trilogy cause it first so well in to that format. sure doc brown has the time train and what not but really...it'snot something you can dust off and come back with a new chapter of 20 years later...

and a remake would jsut be stupid...
