Yep! Looks like Nolan is splitting that reveal into two and we just saw the half of it.

Missed MiB in this episode but other than that it was great, I wonder how Ford is going to explain what happened to others it's not like he can say
she slipped and fell in his creepy experiment basement
what if the robot that was being built is a host Theresa? ;)

There is a theory floating around that Ford will have host Theresa made and her kill herself or something like that to make sure no one is suspicious. However there is a body on a table in the promo for next ep and she has a wound on her forehead so I am thinking Ford will just come up with some excuse and there will be no host Theresa

can HBO stop showing Tessa Thompson naked,in a bikini and tight dress? it takes me 5 minutes to focus back on the story.

Loved last night's episode. Hopkins brought his A game and was incredibly creepy.

Hopkins is a master. I swear, I could happily watch an hour of him just sitting in a chair slowly reading a book aloud. It's the way he chews and enunciates every word, which is something that has come over time for him. Maybe as a result of the way he reads scripts hundreds of times so it's lodged in his mind and he doesn't have to think too much about the content of the lines themselves or missing a word. He'll say a sentence and use a variety of tones just in that one sentence, maybe speed up and slow down, maybe start loud and end with the last word on a whisper. Just a mastery of what he has to say.

He just radiated menace in the last 5 mins of Ep7, and he did it without barely lifting a finger.

I can't get over how good Thandie was especially with this part:

Maeve said:
"You think I'm scared of death? I've done it a million times. I'm f***ing great at it. How many times have you died?"

yikes

Westworld renewed for 2nd season,May not return until 2018

"Westworld is such a big, ambitious show. I don't know if it will be fall of 2017 or into '18," HBO programming president Casey Bloys told THR. "That will depend as we get up and running. With Westworld, because the production is such a big endeavor, I don't exactly know when [it will premiere] yet. I can't speculate other than to say it'll either be '17 or '18. Probably more like '18 and half-hours [Insecure and Divorce] in '17 but we're a year away so let's see how it goes."

The great news it that there will be a second season
The not so great news is that we will have to wait till 2018 :/

Yeah, that's gonna be a tough wait, but I'm just glad the series will continue. Can't wait to see how the story continues to unfold.

I'm not looking forward to this seasons cliff hanger.

five minutes after watching this I was still staring at the screen saying '****....' repeatedly....

That was spine chilling.

I'm liking this show for the most part. I still think there are a few things that could be changed.

However, I really liked last nights episode. But I have to say
I like Thandie Newton's storyline...but it's taking me out of it because those 2 tech guys are so f***ing stupid. I don't get why they're doing what they're doing it's like a bad horror film.

Don't think its a coincidence that both tech guys are named Felix and Sylvester (both cartoon cats) and as the old saying goes ''curiosity killed the cat''

A big thing it sounds like you missed is that Maeve can't be shut down, or at least when she is, she can wake back up. The two workers also have to worry about their jobs; they've stumbled down the rabbit hole and everything they've said and done is being recorded by Maeve. If they decommission her they'll only reveal themselves when she is put through diagnostics. They're also falling into the trap of thinking of her as an actual person instead of a robot they have (weakening) control over.

The drama around the Man in Black isn't really about whether or not he's in danger; it's about if and how he will get the answers he's seeking. But it could be said that after this episode, its proven that hosts can kill people, so that risk is there for something to go wrong.

In any case, the "lack of any real danger" is an interesting thing; it's a meta theme of the show. We as viewers are watching fiction within fiction. We know that Game of Thrones isn't real, yet feel for and worry about the characters; there's no reason one can't worry and fear for the hosts as they navigate their plots.

They made it very clear Maeve can't be shut down. I'm actually watching this episode again and just passed the part where...

Maeve is in the bar and she notices all the hosts have frozen and has the sense to pretend to be frozen when the recovery team comes for Clementine. It seems like she can only be "off" when she is killed, which is why she goaded that guy into "murdering" her so she could be sent back down to talk with the techs.

I can wait as long as I have to wait but Hopkins and Harris better come back in s2. The setting is great, the concept is great, the script is great but these two are THE BEST.
