Good thread idea.

I liked the directors cut of Daredevil when it came out. I was 10 and superhero movies were kinda hard to come by so it didn’t matter.

Also I honestly enjoy parts of Justice League. It ultimately doesn’t work and the third act is bad but there are scenes and moments I think really work.

X-Men: The Last Stand seems to be mainly criticised by fans from my experience and the critics overall opinion on Rotten Tomatoes is that they do not recommend it, but I enjoyed it. It is a 7-7.5/10 movie for me.

The Green Hornet... and apparently Watchmen enters in this category? I love that film, it’s in my top 3 cbm with TDK and CA:WS.

I honestly liked both the theatrical and director's cut of Daredevil (2003).

It's far from high art and I don't think it impacted the genre in any real way, but it is more than watchable and entertaining. Plus, I find Affleck's performance quite effective, where he displays a wonderful 'Batman' voice. A shame he didn't get to use it.

Technically, Blade and Blade II are considered rotten movies.

I second Daredevil being underrated.

I also think Ang Lee's Hulk is the best live action Hulk we've gotten. It's an excellent foray into the mind of Bruce Banner, it is pure Hulk action, and I personally find the visual direction interesting. Oh, and the score is hauntingly beautiful.

I also enjoyed The Wolverine a lot more than Logan.

Batman and Robin. Its absolutely awful quality wise but hilariously entertaining. Ironically contains the best Alfred performance from the Gough era.
The best Bruce Wayne-Alfred moments in film. :cwink:

Well of the Gough era I would agree. I mean for all the crap we give Schumacher, and all justified, but he gave Alfred some great material. In Forever, too, in the scenes with Dick when he moves into Wayne Manor (except for the ninja laundry scene).

Here are the superhero movies I consider to be "bad" but I enjoy anyway.

Green Lantern
Superman 3
Superman 4: Quest For Peace.
Amazing Spider-Man 2.
X-Men: The Last Stand
Fant4stic.
Batman Forever.
Batman & Robin
X-Men Apocalypse

Does Masters of the Universe count as a superhero movie? Because it sucks, but it’s also fun because it fits in so well with other bad 80s sci-fi/fantasy films. Watching the Honest Trailer recently just made me want to rewatch it.

I Acutely enjoyed X-Men Apocalypse!! i hadn't gotten to see dark phoenix yet! mostly cause it got bad reviews & my mom doesn't liked the younger version of x-men!! so i didn't get to see it!! but i probably buy it on blu ray!! especially if i can buy it cheap at amazon or mackeys used books!! I also liked master of the universe!! there also reboot he-man coming march 2021!! i also liked ben Affleck's dare devil!! i recently bought elektra staring jennifer garner!! I also like the justice league!! it kind of reminded me of the Avengers but it wasn't near as good as the Avengers!! i heard that zack snyder director's cut was more violent!! & that they fired zack snyder!! & they were going to use the villain dark side!! i also liked batman squeals batman forever & batman & robin!! batman forever & batman & robin remind me kind of liked adam west batman tv series! I also heard that the riddler was going to be played by micheal jackson!! i read he brought batman comic books!! but it went to jim carry!! ! i also enjoy the bad super man squeals christopher reeves squeals!! my favorite is super man 3!! I also enjoyed super man 4 quest for peace!! did you know that cannon made super man 4 quest for peace? they also made 1980s master of the universe!! but they went bankrupt in the 1980s! right after they made super man 4 ! & i also heard that master of the universe didn't have much money to make the movie!! ! they had to film the fight between he-man & skeletor in one day !

Like others here, I really liked Daredevil.

I was about to say Mystery Men, but then I looked at RT and it was actually Fresh. That honestly surprised me.

I quite enjoy the theatrical cut of Daredevil. NOT the director's cut. And I even still have Elektra on DVD, though I do spend plenty of time thinking how much better it could've been with actual studio confidence when I watch it. I still enjoy it enough to watch it.

  • Batman Forever
  • Batman & Robin
  • Daredevil
  • League of Extraordinary Gentlemen
  • The Phantom
  • Spawn
  • Ghostrider

I like Elektra as a guilty pleasure but also think that even non-guilty pleasure it's at least not too bad.

Daredevil, some parts of batman v superman and batman forever

Superman IV: The Quest For Peace.
Batman Forever
Spawn

Superman IV takes the top for me though. I watched as a kid about 100 times before I saw the rest. The damage was done. I love the score, I love Nuclear Man, I love Lex Luthor, I don't care what anyone says. I enjoy it more than MOS!
