Actually, I just picked up the BATMAN BEGINS VISUAL GUIDE.......and there's a tidbit on Bruce's return that wasn't in the film. It's like a newspaper clip on an article about his return to Gotham. It says at the end..
"After years of speculation on his whereabouts, there are sure to be questions raised about his Lazarus-style reappearance, Where has he been? and can he save fluctuating fortunesof Wayne Enterprise? If Bruce Wayne is anything like his father, we may not know the answers to these questions for some time."
That kinda hints that he is a bit of a recluse. In the comics, Bruce is too really....he just does what Bale's Bruce Wayne does too, which is make a show to cover his lifestyle. Remember, in Batman Begins Alfred pointed it out to Bruce that he doesn't have a social life AT ALL......and needs to atleast fake one, or people will begin to wonder.
His Batman is defintely leaning towards Keaton's.
Look at this way. Bale is the young Batman.....Keaton is the veteran Batman that eventually just gets darker, more angrier and is filled with bitterness. Sort of like the DKR Batman.
