The only bad thing I heard about Rock here is when one member in the Spidey boards (a reasonable member, they exist) said he got attacked by Rock after saying Thor 2 is mediocre
That's the only thing I remember about Rock

Some horrible looking film starring Ethan Hawke and Selena Gomez.
That's sad if he was the writer because that film looks dreadful and it got absolutely slammed by critics.
Oh that one. Yeah, I kinda wanna see it to see how bad it is because the trailer was soooooooo bad.

Im a big DC fan when it comes to the characters. Prefer DC over Marvel in general. But I personally think that every movie decision theyve made other than the casting of Henry Cavill has been terrible. But that's for another thread.

But thats why i dont go in the Batman/Superman thread or the DC Comics Films section. I dont get why waste my time
Every Decision ?
Does that include include hiring Nolan?

Every decision pass The Dark Knight Trilogy. I hated MoS and I dont like any of the casting, save for Cavill or the decision to jump in BvS.

But that's me

Not to sound *****y and I don't have anything against you but we don't need anymore whinners over there so I'm glad you don't visit the section.

I'm just starting to drastically cut down on posting in the Spider-Man forums because I realized I was becoming a buzz killington. Eventually I'll barely post on there at all.

I'm actually with Blackman on his opinion…and I SEE SPIDEY, I don't venture in the DC related threads, save for Batman Returns in the Batworld section, so you won't have to worry about me…

Which is sensible and shows self restraint. Similarly, I didn't like The Avengers, but have kept my opinion away from the relevant board.

UltimateHero. In the Misc. Film forums he would use that card all the time to justify his arguments constantly. He kept saying he was a important screenwriter with contacts in Hollywood.
Well, now we have an astrophysicists in the Interstellar thread. :woot:

And thats your prerogative and I respect that.

…I just don't see the point in complaining, I may have in the past, but I don't see the point anymore…I'm all about the positive, I hope my assumptions are wrong and come release, I'll gladly venture into the thread and sing from the rooftops with how awesome it is…but who has time to complain...

I don't think a negative opinion of a project is wrong, bad, etc...I think it is needed in good, solid, relevant debate and discussion. Same goes for positive opinions....

The problem is not necessarily that one is negative, and one is positive all of the time....it is HOW those opinions are given. It seems that we have a good number of posters on both sides of this that tend to get pissy very quickly when their opinion comes into conflict with another. THAT IS THE PROBLEM, not that the opinion is negative or positive, but that the poster has taken it from simply an opinion, into what is now personal attacks.

NOW, if you like absolutely nothing about a project that is coming out including, script, artwork, actors, director, producer, etc....then yes, I would wonder why you are consistently wasting your time in a particular forum. But, if there are some things that you are looking forward to, and you simply have a negative opinion about a few aspects...then by all means give those opinions. As far as the first things I mentioned, I would say.....come in, state your opinion and move on, no need for you to stay around. BUT, give it respectfully... :)

This is true.

Beyond that, it's also grating when someone is overly and repeatedly negative about something to the point where it's almost as if they leave logic at the door and just like to ***** and ruffle other people's feathers. The same can be said about those who are unflinchingly positive or loyal to a character/filmmaker and cannot admit to any flaws that may be present.

I'm telling you, someone could easily use the Hype as a basis for a psychological study on the personalities and disorders that are present within Internet fandom.

I think that is where motive comes in....which is where the mods/admin. come in. :)

You didn't know that you ARE a part of a psychological study here on the hype? :word:

I agree... I think the biggest problem is that people want so badly others to agree for them (in essence, attention ****ing) that they reiterate their opinions until they get a bunch of people to agree with them so they don't feel alone with their opinions. In layman's terms, it's a sign of insecurity over their own opinion that they need feel like they have to validate their opinion...

I don't care for who's playing Wonder Woman at all (at least at this point), but I don't go into the Wonder Woman boards and rain on people's parades who do.

Oh that one. Yeah, I kinda wanna see it to see how bad it is because the trailer was soooooooo bad.

It was as if someone looked at the script said "You know what this movie needs? Some Selena Gomez".

When Selena Gomez was introduced in the trailer, everyone in my theater started laughing at the trailer.

If a trailer for your movie has Selena Gomez trying to carjack you, no one's ever going to take it seriously.

Funny thing is thing was the movie looked decent until that happen.

"Hm..., a car action movie with Ethan Hawk. It looks like it could be oka... WTF is Selena Gomez trying to rob him? :lmao::lmao:"

I've only seen Gomez act on her cheesy Disney T.V show and thought she was fine for a super low standard kids T.V show but if her performance in the trailer is anything to go by, she is a **** actress as much as she is a singer. I'm afraid to watch that film because of her. And I'm not one to bash an actor because of where they started but I don't think Gomez will ever be a big time leading lady. If she proves me wrong, awesome.

The studio was drunk if they didn't think people would be laughing at Gomez in that trailer.

Same. I don't get those who constantly go into sections for ovies they didn't like to tell fans over and over and over.
