They should Look her down for Supergirl...that would be fire.
We will See where Barbie ends up, i guess the higher it goes the more and urgent will they want her on Barbie 2

Nothing can be negotiated til the strike is over which could be months. And Greta is doing Narnia so could be years before anything even happens.

They don’t need a sequel just like Lego Movie didn’t.

Narnia could have great visuals with her in charge. Really glad she was up for doing that.

Absolutely no reason to make a sequel to this creatively. If Greta wanted to, I'd trust her it was the right call but this clearly stands on its own.

Hahaha its true! Almost every girl and woman I saw at the theater yesterday was decked out in pink. I love it when a film has this kind of impact on people.

Yeah it had a pretty definitive ending. But since we know Barbie world can be infiltrated fairly easily they could really do something about Barbies all together not being enough for the world anymore and how Bratz are taking their place (if they could corpropate with two companies that own them)


While I did laugh at this and it is funny, Barbie has surprisingly been a VERY diverse crowd.

It was the same at my theater too. I had to wait 2 hours in between movies and being in the lobby I just saw so many men, women, and children dressing up in pink for Barbie.

Barbie was the most crowded movie I went to this year when I went Thursday. I also was the only dude in there by themselves, and I bet people thought I was weird lol

That’s not going to stop WB/Mattel. A sequel is all but guaranteed. This is now Mattel’s “franchise” they wanted. It’s more if they’re going to wait for Gerwig or just get another one into production as soon as the strike is over.

Honestly opening the same day as Oppenheimer is the best thing that could have happened for both movies.

Yeah, this was fantastic. Margot and Ryan worked great together, with some truly laugh out moments.

I'm calling shenanigans if this doesn't win the Oscar for best production design.

I know how you mean it, but looking at toy sales and especially how the Comic book sales have exploded since Gunn took over the DCU...it is funny reading "DC Brand crashing and burning".
Like DC drowns at the box office but thrives outside of it...who would have ever expected that?

Anyway...the more i read from the angry at barbie crowd, the more clear it gets that too many people either dont want or cant understand movies.
Like how does someone watch the Barbie movie and come out of it thinking the movie was "hating men"?
It is not an overly complicated movie, how are the messages not clear as day?

People want to find things to be mad at.

Oppenheimer has some saying it *promotes* nuclear war.

Best to just ignore the dumb minority.

I can certainly imagine a certain …group amongst males watching the “monologue” scene and rolling their eyes at it and getting upset at that easily. And that delights me to no end.
