Hi Oscorp.

If they made a skin and model for Robin that should mean we might even see him in the story campaign making a cameo? I mean you gotta think about this in a game way, if you get to play as Robin is he just a shrinked Batman when it comes to gameplay? And how is his design? Does he get a own model (like reskin the body, give unique head) and so forth? I wouldn't think Rocksteady would pull off so much effort just for DLC.

Then theres always the possibility the cameo might be in corporating Batman's past such as Dick or Jason Todd, which reminds me how they might replace Scarecrow with Doctor Strange by having Batman face some of his nightmares.

I'm assuming that Batman will have his own set of challenge maps but so will Catwoman as well so by adding Robin that just an added bonus .

A recent Best Buy advert for Batman: Arkham City has seemingly confirmed Robin's appearance in the game. Not only that, but boy wonder's suggested to be a "playable character" in two challenge maps. The advert pre-order exclusive can be viewed on Best Buy's online ad, the pre-order exclusive was also revealed on their website but taken down shortly after. This can now be accessed through Google's cache.

We have yet to receive a comment from Warner Bros or Rocksteady regarding this claim.

I don't mind tim drake. I don't like bruce's son as robin either.

Well, it being Tim makes the most sense, continuity-wise.

Yeah its the most logical choice. However from September onwards Bruce will have Damian as his Robin and they ll have their own book (B&R) so it would make sense to promote him instead. Tim hasnt been Robin for what... 2 years now?

Anyway, i hope that in a potential sequel we get Robin or Nightwing as playable characters. I understand that Catwoman offers something much different in gameplay (your missions will be about stealing stuff so it will be different to BM's) and fighting (more agility, girlier moves) than what NW or Robin would. They re basically similar to Batman in that respect, unless Batman has assigned them a different mission to his so your missions are different in style.

I highly doubt they'll actually state which Robin it is. Leave it up to the player interpretation, going off of the style of his costume and such.

Tim was showcased as Robin in DC Universe Online game so It make sense that he'd be Robin in Batman: Arkham City

Yeah but when the game came out Tim had just stopped being Robin and he was still the most famous one. Besides i'm sure they didnt want to get themselves into any continuity shenanigans so Dick was just NW and Tim Robin.

In AC's case they arent portraying the whole DC universe and the game is not in any continuity. Robin will only be in the Challenges anyway. So it would make more sense for him to be the one the fans will be seeing each month in B&R.

I was gonna say that it might be iconic one, Dick, but with Babs as Oracle, Dick will now be NW.

Robin? Freaking awesome. Though, I wonder if they will do a more adult-like Robin (ala The Adventures of Batman and Robin) or a more child-like Robin. I think it would be weird to control a pre-teen...

Yeah, but it's going to be their design so that leaves the dialogue, but even then it's debatable.

Young Justice's Robin is Dick Grayson updated to modern day, so he has influences of all Robins. Granted DCUO had Tim as Robin with Dick as Nightwing and this game has Barbara Gordon as the Oracle, so i'd say we're looking at a Tim Drake most likely with a costume that will reflect Neal Adams design, post-Superboy's death design, Young Justice design and Damian Wayne maybe even, just design influences here and there just like with Batman.
