People are already saying the Arkham Knight = Joker online, but I don't think they'll make it that easy.

I don't think RS would be interested even in a JL game since they don't seem to like MP or at least not in their Batman games

co-op and Mp aren't truly the same thin though with the small exception of a hoard mode maybe. but they're not the same. especially with the old school games like doable dragon street of rage and final fights.

The Arkham Knight being revealed as Joker would be beyond lame,Not just because it's supposed to be a new character and Joker as the main twist again would be meh but the knight is supposed to be like an Evil Batman that matches him or is better and so his biggest challenge..just to be Joker all along and he knows how to do hand to hand combat like Bats?

Rocksteady has said no to a Superman game before and so okay but did they give reasons why they aren't interested in that character for a solo game?

They specifically discussed the importance of vulnerability and that being an important aspect of the tension if their batman games, and weren't sure they'd be able to create a similar source of tension for a character like superman.

simple inter gang. hih tech weapons. And they need to stop thinking thugs with normal gun and bullets and just kryptonite against him. Blizzards the death and return of superman made this very clear. and thow super power people at him. it's not like the DCU doesn't have those thing's and they've shown those harm him. the same should apply to the movies too..

Origins was most likely made for 2 reasons:

1) To put something out as an "appetizer" before the next Rocksteady Batman game.
2) To have a third Batman Arkham game on PS3/360, since this is next-gen only.

I fully respect Rocksteady for not adding multiplayer. They are one of the most "less is more" developers I've ever seen. They were going to include a full Gotham and batmobile missions in Arkham City, but realized they needed next gen tech to do so. Now we have all that but only on next-gen, which shows they're not ****ing around. They really want this to be experienced the way it's meant to be.

IF WB ever loses Rocksteady and RS teamed with Marvel and another publisher..What Marvel character would you like for them to try in a solo game?

Spider-Man. I know he's had plenty of games already, but none of them have been anywhere near as good as the Arkham games. I think Marvel's Batman (in terms of popularity/iconic status) deserves that same treatment. Plus his mythos are just as rich and expansive as Batman's.

But at the end of the day, I want some variety and would prefer to see someone other than Rocksteady. They shouldn't do everything. Or rather, we shouldn't get used to the idea that only Rocksteady can make great superhero games (even though that's true so far ). Other studios should be encouraged.

Rocksteady doesn't owe these people anymore. They've given them everything .

I was happy with edge of time as a spider man title and marvel's bat man will alway be Dare devil they have too much in common with each other they were both called the man with out fear both their dad's or family died died in alley ways and both are self made heroes as men that worked their bodies to peek condition.

Batman has his town of Gotham, and DD has hell's Kitchen. both are ninja's, Oh man there's a list with those two.

He just can't and won't be allowed to drive even though they showed a legally blind person that has a drivers licence in the nightly new living in Vermont on nbc once.

when it comes to money it's just dare devil still has to earn more of his money. but he has a fortune him self too. but he also works for s living this is what also makes him even more of a self made man.


It's the "super powers "show It mentions where batman is known as **"the man with no fear"** as one of his nick names one of many.

they took different path's in life from their marvel counter parts

the latter most importantly isn't a playboy like stark but a great dad to another super hero he helped raise . Stargirl of which he's her step dad.

I didn't like the look of Bruce Wayne in the trailer. He looks too young compared to what we've seen him be in Arkham Asylum and City. He looks like he just finished his Origins story.
I was hoping for more of a reflective trailer about him having to overcome the guilt of being responsible for Joker's death.

If you then make a world where any joe off the street can hurt him, it's kind of like making a Batman game that takes play during the daytime. You haven't really solved a problem so much as made another one.

So if you take out thugs, you have the very real question of what does Superman do to advance the story in an exciting way between him fighting Metallo and him fighting Bizzarro? That's a hard question. Maybe one time it is intergang, but next time? Between Bizzarro and Solomon Grundy, what does he do? Solve crimes like Batman? Not very Superman like. Be Clark Kent and not use all the cool powers that make people want to be Superman? Not very Superman like.

I'm just saying give him those to deal with and it'll be fine but if you limit your thinking to stupid criminal with bullets and kryptonite only you'll never be able to do super man right game or movie long term ever. and he care about people around that hurts him as well as it does normal people. well known fact

Iron Man. I know, not fair, but yeah, it would kick such enormous amounts of butt I can't even stand it. RS would take the gadget and vehicle as an extension of character gameplay to the next next next next level.

If they're just doing Arkham with a different character, I'd prefer Black Widow.

From Origins to Knight I say 12 years. I like to believe Asylum happened 10 years later after Origins, AC happened a year later Knight took a year later. But WBM said AO happened 5 to 6 years before Asylum apparently

Okay, super weapons instead of super powers, the end result is you're making Superman into Batman where a random thug on the street can take him down. It's the opposite of making a game where people get to feel like Superman.

If you can make gameplay to show how Superman cares about normal people, that's great, but we haven't seen that yet. The closest we've seen is a city life bar, and that ends up feeling more like a dreaded escort mission than getting the player to care.
