In AC Strange said something like this "Arkham City then Metropolis."
regarding protocol 10
If I recall correctly, Keystone was next.

Hmm, did I miss this? Can you refresh my memory about where Metropolis was mentioned?

I definitely would like Robin to have a bigger part in this. LOVED playing as him in the challenge maps. And he is a huge part of the batman world
I think some combat maps would be fun for co-op. Like a combat arena.
I wouldn't even need co-op. Although what better characters to have co-op than the dynamic duo? I would just like to see him be an important character in the story.
http://forums.superherohype.com/showthread.php?t=474843&page=39I've said this before if they show any thing of the league it'll be a cameo of one character at the very least only and it'll be them calling bat man cause they need him, that'll be all from them. And that will be the most likely end to this series or part of it, after he's done with his villains.
It'll be ether martian man hunter that calls him or super man but if it 's superman he won't show up there to help save the day or if he does show it'll be via boom tube or teleportation devise from wayne tech to pick up bat man after batman has finished things. but it'll most likely on a radio call if it's superman if they don't use martian man hunter. but that's about it.
the thing the are most likely to use are teams that batman had created but I'm expecting them but they are the bat family, the birds of prey, the outsiders and lastly yeah even batman Incorporated. most of the members are ether from Gotham or were members of some thing batman created as organized crime fighting.
And it'll be cool to see Metamorpho of the outsiders throw down with clayface. while batman deal's with the head /cause of the problem.
again I'm not Expecting much of that as them being playable (and that's if they show any of this at all , and I'm not expecting it to happen) if anything the most I can see happening if that were the case is for batman to fight side by side and for the game to give a hint of Batman leading/ coordinating them to hot spots/ area's he can't reach in time around the city via radio talk, if they don't show him head to those area's to side side by side with them. again him doing via radio all while he deals with the actual main problem and ends it. and for there to be a big push to let batman deal with the main problems/ villains hide out/center. while those other deal with the thugs and hench men out side.
that's about it if they were to do that. again not expecting it.
That's what I mean. In a modern-day Superman game, how do you feasibly pull off his power set and make it a compelling game. As you said, he can fly into space in seconds and could probably do laps around the sun. So an open world game in say Metropolis--is that not constraining?
Thugs can't really hurt him unless they have some special armaments that are strong enough to hurt a metahuman like Superman.
But I mean maybe Rocksteady can figure it out now. Maybe they can have multiple cities or even PLANETS he can trot to.
I think I would still want him to be playable in the story. Catwoman was playable in the story, Robin was playable in the DLC story. Put that together and that would make me happy.
Just have super man or man hunter call him and say that the league needs him there's no need for mantel passing, not by death or other wise.Since this is the last game, Bruce should quite and pass the mantle as batman to nightwing and then superman comes and check if it's true by the end of the game.

I've said this in the Superman Game thread a couple times, but you basically have him fight monsters. Instead of copying from games and mechanics about skilled humans, copy games that focus on epic superhuman feats. Radical (Hulk:UD, Prototype series) are more likely to do a great Superman game than Rocksteady, honestly. Instead of trying to pace the game like Metal Gear Solid, pace it like Shadow of the Colossus. There's lots of fun to be had with an invulnerable Superman in Lego Batman 2. Puzzles break up the pacing to the hero's objectives well. You could almost take that same gameplay and age-up the graphics and story and have a decent Superman game.
When Superman is fun to play, people don't really care that they only fly 300 mph instead of 3 million mph. Just like when Batman is fun to play, people don't ask, why doesn't he just call in the Batjet to lift him out of here. Just like you don't give Batman every gadget in he's ever had, you don't make Superman the strongest he's ever been. After that, making a game becomes not only possible, but incredibly promising and rewarding.
But back to B:AK, I hope Catwoman is part of the main campaign again. Rocksteady did a great job with her. Hopefully Nightwing as well since it seems DC is about to do something really stupid with that character in Forever Evil. And as horrible as it sounds it's good to see Barbara is still in the wheelchair. It's really a great thing for her character. Damage already done there in the New 52.
Now if this is a boss fight, I'll be pre-ordering:

Exactly. I really don't understand the people that expect Superman to be able to fly to the Sun in 2 seconds either. I really don't see how that makes him anymore Superman than the scope of his powers in the Fleischer/Timmverse. I'd honestly just scale it back to that powerset and just have Rocksteady go nuts with it. Imagine a Mxyptlk stage in the vein of the Mad Hatter side quest.
