Arkham Origins - Joker main villain -
Arkham Asylum - Joker main villain
Arkham City - Joker main villain
Arkham Knight......[blackout]Joker returns as the main villain lol only joking[/blackout]

In all seriousness The Rocksteady studio set up a great series, unfortunately WB Montreal basically didn't measure up as well and basically copied Arkham City with a few new additions, but when it went back to The Joker being the main villain it kinda ruined the experience, I could see why everyone is consider that Arkham Knight will do the same. I believe Rocksteady aren't going to make that error and they are going to do what they set out to do and that's to top Arkham City with Arkham Knight.

Already Arkham Knight is shaping up nicely we already have The Batmoblie, Bigger city to explore, improved combat, Next-Gen visuals, and so much more to come.

Origins measured up just as well for me. Love that game.

Yeah I am surprised at the amount of hate I see for Origins. I thought it was a very worthy entry in the series. My only real complaint was that the game was kinda buggy but other than that I enjoyed it a lot.

My main problem is that it felt like a reskin of Arkham City. I didn't feel like I was playing a 60 dollar game--just DLC. The story was well worth it in the end, but it all felt too similar. Plus, the bigger city was useless. In my opinion it was more of a hassle than anything. Just too much of it. It looked nice, but that was really it.

But yeah, I agree, don't get all the hate. Definitely not up to either of Rocksteady's installments, but still good.

well they were honest about that from the start, they said from the jump that they were just adding to it with the little bits, but cool things that they did . but not doing anything that would over shadow the other games ina jor way prior, they weren't trying to reinvent the wheel with that installment of the series. they said that was for Rock steady..
They said that both in article and video to game informer and place's like EPN.TV when they(the latter) was calling them selves EP Daily etc. Other then that , the thing that bugged people that bought the game were the bugs & issues and that turned a lot of people off that people were ether sending back it or selling if off.

The bugs and issues were more worse for some then others that bought it.

and I really wish they were given the pull/ autonomy that Rock steady has when they want to delay to polish their games. Alot of studio's would benift from it as long as they are truly doing polishing and not doing that stunt that was pulled with alpha protocol by a bad manager at Sega that screwed the studio Obsidian over. they should be alow to say "No boss this isn't ready yet. we need more time to polish and make it great. " they need to be given that right. screw the impatient boss's or other that will complain (they be complainin any way. til it get's in their hands) the can wiat a bit longer and they'll shut up if it turns out good . I would rather have it done right, then just done and it's not fun.

I think this is pretty much my thoughts on Origin. It was a good game with solid merits but was also a very clear hold-me-over until Arkham Knight.

I enjoyed Origin's storyline more than City's. Overall, I think Origins is pretty underrated.

I've interviewed developers and they talk about how the polishing up of a game is really what happens in those final months or when a game gets delayed for a release later on.

I want the polish and spit shine, so give it the time that it needs.

Apoligies if this has been asked before but does anyone know what the name is of the song used in the father son trailer ?

As for Origins: the story was magnificent, which compensated for the mechanical shortcomings, while AC's gameplay compensated for its narrative shortcomings.

Kevin Conroy Talks Arkham Knight
He starts talking about Arkham Knight at 5:00. He may have leaked the new release date.

January 2015. I can live with that.

Oh yeah that's great date but I was thinking summer 2015 like July release.

My guess was always January considering it seemed like the delay was just to work out all of the kinks so don't see why they would need more than 2-3 months for that.

Yeah January isn't so bad. Better than fall 2015, that's for sure.

Just curious, what did you not like about Arkham City's story? I agree that Origins had an excellent story, but I though AC was a bit better.

Would be a great way to start a new year in gaming!

My biggest gripes were the fighting (mostly the countering) felt just off enough that it made me suffer from trying to start large combos, and how Joker once again was the main focus. Besides that I was actually enjoying the story for the most part, still once I beat it on NG+ I can't imagine having any reason to want to play it anymore.

Conroy is looking good. He's aged really well.

AC didn't really have a story. It ha a good premise, but it devolved immediately into a cure fetch quest. Literally, that was the plot: one giant fetch quest for a cure.

I think he sounded good enough.
