from the get-go I was convinced it was Hush and it makes sense given the events in Arkham City.
This is the best theory so far.

Just curious, what did you not like about Arkham City's story? I agree that Origins had an excellent story, but I though AC was a bit better.

The way some of the individual characters were drawn in Origins and their interactions were very well done. The scene where Bruce and Alfred get into an argument has legitimate pathos to it. Unfortunately that stuff gets kind of drowned out within the uneven story. That spat with Alfred is literally nullified minutes after it happens. Joker was well done but his presence felt tired and overwhelming, particularly during the totally random and unnecessary voyage into his psyche.
Also, Arkham Knight is almost certainly Hush. It's so obvious I almost don't want it to be him.
When exactly did he mention Nightwing? 4:08?A designer from Batman: Arkham Knight
Skip to 3:50, he may have just confirmed Nightwing![YT]jIfKVAbJ84Q[/YT]

Hmmm...what look, though? At that exact moment I spoke of? I'm not seeing much of anything. It's possible, but the look on his face says otherwise.

lol not likely he has no reason to and it doesn't make sense he'd hed done that direction with his mentor and more importantly he's more cop (under cover cop) and spy materiral then anything I don't see him using tanks to get the job done . ok and that might be too restrictive for his taste as a job (that can be said of alot of characters ) that weren't actually military from the jump origin wise.Damn what if Grayson is Arkham Knight.![]()
Here is the difference though and why I don't believe it's Hush.
Hush was looking for vengeance on Bruce Wayne. Arkham Knight is after Batman and has a vendetta against Batman.
When Batman encounters Hush in Arkham City, he lets Batman go. He has no quarrel with Batman yet. He grafted skin on his face to look like Bruce Wayne.
In Arkham Knight, the Knight is all about targeting Batman and he knows a lot of Batman's strategies and secrets.
Sorry, but it ain't Hush.
EDIT: Oh wait it might be Lego Batman 3. That might make more sense.
