Batman: Arkham Knight - Part 3

I'd expect Green Arrow to maybe be in the rumored Suicide Squad game.

Here is the difference though and why I don't believe it's Hush.

Hush was looking for vengeance on Bruce Wayne. Arkham Knight is after Batman and has a vendetta against Batman.

When Batman encounters Hush in Arkham City, he lets Batman go. He has no quarrel with Batman yet. He grafted skin on his face to look like Bruce Wayne.

In Arkham Knight, the Knight is all about targeting Batman and he knows a lot of Batman's strategies and secrets.

Sorry, but it ain't Hush.

He says clearly threatens Batman in Arkham City if he gets in his way. Batman clearly gets in Arkham Knight's way by just being Batman. Who's to say his whole plot is against Batman himself? They haven't said what his plan is. He COULD be going after Bruce and Batman just tries to stop him.

It still very well could be Hush.

It's not. The Arkham Knight clearly knows that Batman and Bruce Wayne are one and the same. Hush did not.

And why is he an knight of Arkham?

I wonder if Azreal will return since he kinda prophesied Gotham's Destruction in Arkham City?

I really hope the Arkham Knight isn't Hush or Jason Todd or anything like that. Why claim you are creating a totally new character and then just simply tell a variation of "Under the Red Hood" or "Hush"? Doesn't make sense.

Azrael has got to be the Arkham Knight, it makes a lot more sense than x random character showing up.

Yeah, based on that clip from AC, it certainly seems like Azrael would be the Arkham Knight. "From the ashes of Arkham..."

But again, kind of stupid.

I would rather see Azrael back and fulfilling his words as Azrael in something separate from the main plot. The Arkham Knight might be a new inclusion, but if it turns out to be Joe from Accounting or something, it's not going to really have any impact for me.

Not as stupid as lets say having the Joker be Arkham Knight.

What do the numbers on the visor mean?

They did three times already including WB montreal's take on the Arlhamverse

Oh, they are so gonna get Joker under that helmet. Even if it's just an hallucination. With Scarecrow as the main villain, they have the perfect excuse to put Joker into the game again.

Exactly. How would Hush know a specific strategy as telling his army "NOT to shoot at Batman's chest plate"? I'm not believing the "Hush is the Arkham Knight" theories either.

I don't think it's Hush either, but if he has found out that Bruce Wayne IS Batman (there are many ways he could have learned that), then it makes sense that he would be after Batman perhaps even more than Bruce Wayne, as he'd wanna go after who he *really* is.

It's going to be very very interesting to see what they have come up with for AK. Assuming he is an original character as they say. They must have a killer backstory/origin/motivation for him to be on par with the greats like Joker, Two-Face, etc.

Putting a nobody in a Batman-like suit and giving him an army isn't enough to make him a compelling villain. And I'm sure Rocksteady knows that.

Thing is, what direction could they take him in? Every origin has already been done, pretty much. We have the mentor/father-in-law lol (Ra's), the arch-villain whose fate is forever entwined with Batman (Joker), the tragic fall of a friend/ally (Two-Face), the childhood friend bent on revenge (Hush), the copy-cat who wants to be a better Batman (Red Hood, Hugo Strange), the creepy, psychopathic bastards who do it for fun (Scarecrow, Zsasz, Riddler) and even the long lost brother (Owlman).

I'm interested to see what makes Arkham Knight special...

That's why a lot of people aren't buying into the fact it's a new character. The really need a good reason for this unknown guy to show up out of nowhere.

I still say he's Batman's fear manifested. If he really is an actual person though, I hope they came up with a good backstory.

I like that idea, but all the hype just for another illusion would not be a good idea. That may not go over well with most people.
