Batman: Arkham Knight - Part 4

I can't wait to play challenge maps with Red Hood, I'm already imagining his fighting animations being quite brutal and blunt. I hope I can select Robin and Nightwing once again, like in Arkham City.

so what's this I'm hearing about Superman possibly being in this game?

Superman being in the Arkhamverse would be pretty cool. I'd love to see how Rocksteady would design him. But who knows if it's true or not, could have been a troll trying to create speculation.

Although, given the stakes of this game. I can imagine a quick scene with Superman quickly stopping by to talk to Batman, and asking if he needs help. To which Batman would just say "Go home Clark, I don't need any help".

A quick Tim Daly voiced Superman cameo wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.

I always said that's the best way for it to end this batman is called by super man ether by radio com or martian man hunter saying the league needs him after it all . he doesn't have to show up no one can complain. the most important part is the latter.

Gotham is burning. The Arkham inmates are running wild. Chaos everywhere. Batman is broken, tired, hungry, and he really, really, really needs to go to the bathroom.

Superman: "So, need any help yet?"

Batman: ".......................no. :o"

I don't dislike Superman on his own, but crossovers are so forced and cheesy. I think even a mention of him in an Arkham game would bring the integrity of the game to an embarrassing low.

Like in the movies. :o

One thing I'd like to see is free roam with the other BatClan members, even with the side missions.

Like, if I'm playing as Nightwing, I can free roam to a crime scene like in Origins (one of the more fun side missions in that game) and scan it with Detctive vision, but Nightwing also flirts with Oracle during the com banter.

Or I'm playing as Red Hood on taking down a crime family to secure an area, and he and Tim keep hacking each other's com's and maybe insulting each other.

Or Catwoman is doing a Riddler challenge and keeps calling Batman on his "emergency only" number and they do their thing.

Metropolis and Lex Luthor have already been mentioned in this series. It's safe to assume Superman exists in this canon whether he explicitly appears or not.

Since we're mentioning it, kinda, I think after this we should get a World's Finest game after the Arkham series. Base it off some of the Superman/Batman comics.

Don't forget about Nightwing. He got his name from a kryptonian vigilante Superman told him about.

Where was Lex Luther mentioned though?

I am not averse to a JL/WF/Trinity game...all I request is one game where the Black Glovle, or its derivative, the Court of the Owls, are the villains. One secret society game. If not, maybe a DLC storyline involving Andrea Beaumont, as she is part of the Arkham canon?

I wouldn't mind a JL game where it's open world and you can switch out between the characters.

however, I'd much prefer an open world Superman game first.

This was in one of the Arkham Knight trailers. Lex corp sign.

Was he? I sure don't remember that at all.

One of the earlier parts of the game. If you let the henchmen talk before fighting them, they mention him.

Not to mention the Kord Industries sign in the Scarecrow DLC trailer, a reference to Ted Kord, the second Blue Beetle.

Agreed. I hate how every DC game or cartoon series just HAS to have a cameo from another DC comic-book franchise. I'd rather the characters stay in their own universes.

The Arkham series has done a good job so far of keeping Batman in his own universe (With the exception of Talia mentioning Metropolis in Arkham Knight) Why change things now? Oh yeah, to help sell the next Superman movie, comics and toys.

I'll be shocked if Rocksteady leap into another DC based game after Arkham Knight. It seems to me that they're itching to move on and create something wholly unique to them.

Which they should do. Let WB Montreal take up the reins with their Arkham Origins early Batman days universe.
