Batgirl: A Matter of Family will allow players to take on the role of Batgirl for the first time in the Batman: Arkham franchise. This exciting story add-on features an all-new location with multiple missions, side quests and secrets; a new hacking feature to progress through the world and solve puzzles; and Dual Play functionality with Robin for dynamic take-down maneuvers.

Hey the DLC is done by WB Montreal, maybe it will have good writing? :)

Still not interested in the Batgirl dlc but I think it's great that WBM did it and if it turns out awesome then that gives them more points for them among fans since I already find them underrated.

I blame most issues in that game on WB themselves

I know he probably will be in it, but I'd rather Joker not be the villain of the Batgirl DLC. Rather someone else take center stage.

But he likely will.

if it allow's them to do another batman title with proper time & they have the privileges Rocksteady had all the better to be allowed to have push back delay for polish .

I wouldn't mind more Arkham origins from them but if they can make another slighty different title I'm with that. also their producer was the that promised us the Batman beyond game of arkham too .

weather if it's not related to arkham ether. related to arkham or something entirely new/ different . I hope this allows them another shot since people missed their director edition on the old systems

If WBM gets to do a new batman game unrelated to the Arkham franchise while having the freedom and time that Rocksteady had..I'd be so happy that I'd breakdance!

I wish we can choose who we want to use in the dual-play "challenge map". I want to use; Red Hood and Nightwing, Catwoman and Harley Quinn, and Batman & Robin.

They probably wanted to get their money's worth out of Hamill... so I fully expect Joker to be apart of this DLC.

How many years are between Origins and Knight? He's burning through Robin's very quickly. :funny:

Arkham Origins
5 years
Arkham Asylum
15 months I think they said in game
Arkham City
1 year
Arkham Knight

So around 7 years time frame.

So I'm assuming Dick was Robin for 3 years, Jason 2, and Tim 1 (and 1/2?) years. Not counting the time they spent training.

So there's quite a bit I've been disappointed about this game the more I think about it.

But, the positives are

The inclusion
[BLACKOUT]Professor Pyg[/BLACKOUT] - down right creepy, I'm surprised there isnt more talk about him.

Driving the batmobile for the first 5 minutes is fun, and using it too get from place too place is fun instead of gliding every where.

Inclusion of the Joker - I really wish there was more too that whole story line.

The bat family's appearances, and some iconic scenes Killing Joke, Death in the family, etc.

They made the fights difficult with the brutes I found as if you had already committed too a punch instead of blocking you can't counter it, like you can regular baddies.

Story was pretty good too - I much preferred arkham origins, but this was not poor in anyway.

Bad things -

Too much batmobile - when in the world are you going too read a batman comic where he drives the bat mobile this much.

No boss battles - there wasn't once where I felt "oh crap, I'm up against a big bad."

The epicness of batman feeling, taking out baddies just didn't feel the same when you can do so with such ease in the tank.

Side quests were all short - aside from Riddlers, or the militia's, which just drag on.

Lack of villains - I felt they really toned it back, I was hoping for a lot more appearances, I mean this is supposed to be the big finale, this is when everyone teams up too take down the bat, and I didn't once feel like i had a legion of super villains working against me.

What did the villains do for this to be considered a team up? They never seemed like they were working together, besides Penguin supplying weapons.

Not much they all had this plan to take down the bat & that was to ruin his reputation(what he stood for as symbole for the city of Gotham) or by
exposing of his Identity
but it seem's they were all still doing their own thing hitting place's to rob or cause their own personal chaos like fire fly. which was planned together when they'd do all that. Working side by doesn't seem to be part of that deal.

While I was very pleased with her
Poison Ivy had a really good part in the story. I was actually surprised that she was such a major player. Good to see some villains like Ivy and Scarecrow get some time in the sun.

I still feel like we haven't seen a strong showing from Two Face in any of the games though.

More or less they funded Arkham Knight and Scarecrow all the money/weapons for the army they hired. That's all I saw.

I really hope we get a great Two Face story in an Origins sequel. I'd love for there to be a major meaty side mission that's Batman, Gordon and Dent against the mob and the origin of Two Face.

Let's let WBE say there is A sequal to arkham origins in the works first other wise parts of the fan that want it should ask and I'm Sefton will back it up since he's supportive of WBM too.

For example, being forced to use the Batmobile to power up circuits and **** is ridiculous.
