DC game or not, I hope it's as revolutionary as Arkham Asylum!

Probably Suicide Squad but damn I hope it's JL

Shortly before this month's DLC is released, the Arkham Knight Skin and Matter of Family Harley Quinn skin will be available to use after downloading the update patch:

I won't be playing Arkham knight anymore. I enjoy it alot but so many people have told me I'm wrong and have sucked the fun and enjoyment out of it for me. I shouldn't have my own opinion. It just isn't worth the fight.

No one cares. You are not being oppressed.

He's trolling now, he's doing the same thing in the bvs threads.

Clearly doing some baiting/trolling almost like a melodramatic child.

It's too much of a shame that us posters have come to your house and forced you not to play the game. :csad:

finally beat catwoman's revenge, at times that final section felt incredibly cheap but riddler's commentary made it worth it

Such a shame how this game just felt boring. I beat it within the first week and haven't played it since. I play City at least 5 times and proably 10 with Asylum. Maybe I'm just getting older. I think it was the batmobile that really just brought it down to boredom for me. 100 bucks down the drain.

The game is really boring also because of the lack of variety in "challange maps" that still don't exist in the same capacity as the previous games and the open world segments blow post-story because you have noone to fight againts anymore.

I've tried over and over again to come up with a reason as to why I find the game boring compared to its predecessors...but I can't. It just is.

I agree with you guys. It's a polished but ultimately boring game - at least compared to Rocksteady's previous entries. There are not as many cool moments that pull you into the game such as the Freeze battle in AC, the Scarecrow nightmares in AA, climbing the tower in AC, the final moments in AC. AA was a small yet more tight experience. AC went bigger with a bit worse story but more epic moments.

Arkham Knight doesn't really have any of that as much. It also feels less creative. Sure, they added some cool stuff to the combat, but the overall gameplay experience didn't feel as creative. Upping the ante in this game is the same as "add twenty more tanks" instead of giving you tough and exciting puzzles. The boss battles are horrendous. They didn't even use Scarecrow to his potential. The side missions were "repeat x three times". Instead of the majority of the game being driving a tank, they should keep to more stealth, more puzzles and better bosses instead.

The game just doesn't feel varying enough, neither in its storytelling nor in the gameplay.

It makes horrible use of the villains, too. Most of them are just side missions. So much for the whole idea of the villains working together to take down Batman in the wake of Joker's death.

I'm replaying Arkham Origins at the moment because it's a great festive Batman adventure, not to mention the best game of the series.

**** replaying AO hasn't occurred to me. Great idea.

Can you be more specific in the ways that Knight's challenge maps lack variety compared to the previous games? When it comes to "challenge mode" Knight has more characters, more tools per character, more game-play features, more maps, and even the environments themselves vary noticably from one another in their size, layout and number of enemies; even the type of challenge - bank heist vs regular predator, or dual-play or single in both combat and predator, provide significant variety from the previous games.

And even if you don't want combat or predator, you can play a different type of challenge with the Batmobile; and even then that can vary in its type too - where it can be a simple time challenge (with various vehicles, each with their own unique handling), APC hunting or a hybrid of racing and Batmobile combat or just Batmobile combat.

That depends how much content you have bought. I still can't play Red Hood, because i'm meant to pay for a 3$ DLC to unlock it, where as AC and AO gave me free characters. What are the free characters? Azrael, Nightwing, Robin and Catwoman? That would mean 1 new character: Azrael.

more maps
There's like 4 predator maps and 4 combat maps last time I checked.

Bank Heist was different yeah, I don't see much difference in dual play.

No thanks, the gameplay is horrid imo.

As a base game, meaning without the Season Pass, you do not have access to a majority of that content I'll admit. However, with the Season Pass, Knight has plenty of game-play in its AR challenges, and plenty of variety within that game-play compared to previous games.

i stopped playing since i got Battlefront

but i'll go back to it once Season of Infamy is released. the BvS stuff looks awesome but not enough yet to entice me to go back. also heard mixed reviews for the Catwoman & Robin DLC

Joker you really think AO is the best of four games?

I didn't play it past the intro, I just couldn't get into it. I've heard the story is top notch but I noticed the timing is off, or so it seemed to me, for the free flow combat and counters. It was super irritating, I'm no slouch at the Arkham games and guys were landing hits on me that just wouldn't of happened in AC. It was to the point where I turned it off and had no desire to jump back into that again.

Knight hasn't yet given me the unscratchable itch to keep playing yet but I blame that on Phantom Pain. I can tell from what I've played so far the combat is back up to par.

^ I'm with Joker Origins is my favorite and I think the best of the series.

Origins has the best story and quality and variety of boss fights..
The batsuit and voice work is great as well..

My favorite thing though is its version of Bane, perfectly executed until it bends for the sake of continuity..

Cons is the bugs, the overpowered remote claw, unoriginal glue grenade, overpowered shock gloves and finally combat timing is off

Anyone spend much time on online mode?
