pencils, then inks, then i have my friend scan them. so there you go.
they are quite a bit smaller here than they are in 'real life.'

i'm going to have my friend pete color them...he is top notch quality grade-a beef, so hold off on leaving them b&w until you see his work.

dchisholm, do you just ink right over the pencil? And what to you use to ink with? I'm asking because I can't seem to get my lines as clean as yours, and your work is fantastic.

yeah...i guess. i use pens and stuff to ink.
i do most of the heavy lifting with the pencils, though. i do pretty tight pencils when i know i'm going to ink them.
then they get dumped into photoshop and the levels get adjusted so the blacks are super black and the whites are super white.
