Its becuase without his "comicbook" filter his manips just look like two pictures badly stuck together that dont blend at all. No offence to his work i quite like this one actually but its the truth. Its not even a comic book filter its a brush filter, dry brush probably.

well you can kind of see who it is but it took me about 2 mins to figure out that was eliza,and the font is so small!but i still like it,where did you get the pics?

Sure you haven't got me confused with someone else? Either way I've never claimed my manips were difficult or the best around. And I've never used this filter (yes, it's a filter) to this degree in the past (except maybe the Dawes/Bruce ones). And the shot of Bruce is actually two parts, so if it looks like one piece I'm pleased.

Some of it I couldn't use the filter as much as I'd like (Eliza's bodyshot & the bottom panels). Because it changed them too much. But if I didn't use it enough on the face shots it wouldn't really have that "comic book" feel at all, and would just look like movie stills. I tried to strike a balance between showing detail & the comic effect. But I think it created an imbalance as well, since Bruce stands out a little more than I'd like now. Oh well, it is what it is. I like it. t:

Try The Celebrity Database for the Eliza pics. The ones I used for Bale were taken from search engines (lazy).
