yes, i've seen it, and i could agree with you on that, animated versions are very near in ability, and then it could go either way, but if you compare him to the comic book version, then it's over for terry
agreed and the topic creator didn't say anything about animated spidey he just said spidey so i think he means the comicbook version so....................................SPIDEY WINS!!

you know, if you keep on saying it, it's not going to magically become a better argument

But......... Terry has Bruce! :(

i was wrong...it makes more sense now

your forgetting that everyone terry has beaten could also be beaten by spidey, besides, batman's biggest advantage has allways been the fact that he scares the crap out of crooks, and spidey doesn't get scared that easily
that's bruce not terry, terry was hardly intimidating. I can't remember a bunch of supervillains terry faced that were actually scared of him, heck the majority were happy to kick the crap outta him with no inhibitions...

the times had changed and the younger folk wanted to get their hands on this legend of batman character that everyone was raving on about from yester year...

It's pretty obvious that most of the ppl who says, Spidey wins with ease haven't watched Batman Beyond.
I've watched both animated series on TV, and Spiderman doesn't seem to be as strong as you say. I was comparing the animated version of Spiderman, but you just began using the strongest form of him, and underestimated Terry's skills. It's true he has even beaten his own suit, showing that it's not just strengh he relies on, like you may think. His probably just as intelligent as Peter if not more when it comes to fighting.
And his probably MUCH MUCH more skilled when his adult. There is an episode about him in JLU, where he is an adult.
exactly, talibak took on batman in one of the justice league episodes, and supes vouched for bats saying that bruce would have taken him down.

terry is pretty much as close (in his adult peak) to brue as anyone is ever going to get with tons of experience and two generations of input behind him.

alright, let's look fairly at the strongest person spidey has face in the animated world. hmmm... perhaps venom, or the rhino. I'm pretty sure bane or mad jack would give them a run for their money.

PLUS AN IMPORTANT FACTOR, terry fights dirty and doesn't care about how he gets the victory, nor does he rely on wit for the majority of his time but he has that in his skills as we see against the joker. he is also used to going up against wise crackers like the joker so he knows how to handle spidey's quips while spidey wouldn't be used to being on the receiving end of banter.

I mean who else has the balls to laugh in the joker's face :o

what honestly did animated spidey ever do/show in the series that really was that great?

once again the topic creator didn't say anything about animated spidey vs. batman beyond he just said spidey. so it must be the comicbook version and the CB can KIVK BATMAN BEYOND'S ASS!!
i still even think animated spidey could kick Batman beyond's ass easy. and yes i do watch the cartoon i have some episodes on my desktop foo.:o :o

The reason why didn't say anything about animated or comicbook, is because I didn't think there was that big difference between them. But I will edit it. Because I don't know anyting about CB Spidey, I only saw the animated one and he seemed to be pretty much as equal as Batman.

in that case it'd be an even fight, but

bane wouldn't give venom a run for his money...venom is much much stronger than bane and could easily defeat him, bane has obviously a higher IQ but it would take too much time to figure out how to beat him, and by then spidey would've allready come and beat the crap out of both
(funny thing, i'm actually a batman fan myself, but in marvel i choose spiderman)

(i need some hype help, i've finally reached the 200 posts...but i don't know how to put up an avvy...)

People keep saying how Spider-Man's spider sense will keep his opponent from laying a hand on him.

So where was that precious spider-sense when he was on the receiving end of all those punches/lasers/etc. that managed to tag him during his adventures, hmm?

Sorry Spider-fans, but Batman is going to connect some punches.

i never said spiderman wouldn't recieve any punches, but he'd still win

spidey takes it.

faster
stronger
smarter
more agile
spider sense

NO contest

it's not thaaaaaaat much of a difference

Yes it is.
Terry could only do so much in that suit.

Since BATS in Batman beyond is Terry [bruce's son] and it's not Bruce in the suit, and Terry would still be an amature compared to Bruce or Peter Parker. Spidey wins .
