I actually think he would do well as a young Bruce. Having him and Cavill together again since the Tudors would be something they might want to try.

Me too. I get more of a Lex vibe from him than I do Bruce..so strike that suggestion I made for him to be Bats.
He'd kill it as Lex.

I don't think the nose of Richard Armitage is going to be a bad thing, it will actually be great for Batman. They can have a Batman with really sharp features on his cowl/mask.

Excellent point. That is actually a big reason why I am not a big fan of the Burton cowl in contrast to so many here. I feel like it fails to capture the sharpness of Bats' features, especially from the side.

My sister started watching The Tudors on Netflix because she loved Man of Steel and Cavill so much. She's never been a fan of Rhys-Myers though. A Tudors reunion is hilarious but I don't see Rhys-Myers as Batman.

Rhys-Meyers is...an explosive actor. But that isn't an entirely laudatory statement. He can bring this electric frisson of energy to a scene, but he can also over-act appallingly. He's interesting, but probably even higher risk than Wes Bentley, who has a comparable appeal. Rhys-Meyers has been my top pick for Harvey Dent for some time.

Armitage's face is perfect for Bruce Wayne. He has that old-school, rugged attractiveness that suits the part so well, and he won't look pug-ugly next to Cavill, like Brolin. Armitage is definitely one of the better picks I have seen here.

Jonathan Rhys-Meyers is another actor who would be a much better Lex than Batman. He's got crazy eyes, and he's much too thin to play Batman, even if he were put through Gym Jones.

Rhys-Meyers was great as the manipulative Machiavellian Steerpike in Gormenghast and creepy cult leader Father in Octane.

Sadly, every "beauty" related thing seems to be mostly about women. I would have been surprised if I hadn't spent months reading the odd comment about Cavill's crooked nose.
