True that and that's actually very sad. The third lead in a blockbuster global trilogy ought to take you to global fame but he looks so different in real life from Thorin that hardly any members of the general audiences will be able to recognize him or place him.

It's the beard. He can probably walk across the street without being recognized in most places. But I'm okay with the GA not knowing who he is. The Bale or Bust people will cry foul pretty much no matter what, but the more flexible members of the GA would probably be intrigued by his performance.

i think the pro adkins crowd is afraid of getting another bale drunken fighting type of fight choreography. but you don't need adkins to be batman to fix that. hire him to design the fight choreography. problem solved.

Maybe someone with more knowledge of Adkins can correct me woot: inspite of people thinking otherwise my awareness of Adkins is brief) but can he choreograph fights too?

Too my knowledge he is like Statham, he's exceptionally physically gifted and can perform fights to perfection (the stuff he does in the Undisputed films is performed 100% legit without wires or CG or doubles) but can he actually design them? Cause that is a whole another ball game and a different talent altogether.

If he can, then more power to him, he's even more talented than I presumed.

A lot of people seem in favour of Armitage, personally I don't see it.
Also, I find him to be a bit of a 'stiff' actor - check out Strike Back, also speaking as a Brit, it'd be nice for you guys to cast an American to play an American this time!
Of all suggestions I still think Wes Bentley looks the most 'Bruce Wayne' to me, and he looks to have a dark side!
Whoever gets the gig, better build themselves up pretty big though - I want the next Batman to look like he could actually kick the ***** out of bad guys with or without his costume on!
