I'm not against a dude from T.V getting the role I just haven't seen good acting from Hoechlin as an adult. Yes he is good looking but so are most people in Hollywood.

Christian Bale as Moses. Sometimes, someone here comes up with what I assume must be a joke. I then Google it, and find that it's a thing that's actually happening.

So you changed your mind huh? Cool.

Well I just have more confiedence in Hamm as an actor than my previous manip/suggestions. Plus, I think he looks like the quintessential Bruce Wayne.

I'm coming around on this Richard Armitage fellow though, even if he does look like Hugh Jackman's cousin.

Superman's face has to look perfect. Not Batman's.

Have to disagree - Bruce Wayne is also portrayed as a handsome Billionaire playboy... then again, being a billionaire makes most men look handsome!

Bruce Wayne is supposed to be the world's most eligible bachelor. He should be good looking.

there's a difference between being good looking/handsome, and looking prefect

superman's looks are suppose to be prefect symmetry, prefect ratios,... ect, just over all aesthetically pleasing

you can be considered good looking with out being prefect looking

This. Which is why I take issue with people writing off guys like Bentley, Gyllenhaal, and Gosling, but go with open arms to uber rugged guys like Mount and Brolin.

If there are a lot of people in this world that look perfect,
I have not met them.

Ugh, that stereotype again. I can assure you that aside from a certain subset, most straight/bi women (and most other people attracted to men) will value the charm and appearance a celebrity has over their money.

Exactly. Sometimes the imperfections actually add to the good looking/handsome aspect, or at least make the person's appearance a memorable one. That's always the look I've preferred that Bruce Wayne have over the perfect square-jawed twin of Clark look he's sometimes had.

The uber rugged guys are a result of the aging Batman rumor.

WB was okay with getting a 37 year old actress to play Lois despite internet ageist morons, I doubt Armitage's nose will be held against him.

And Renner was 41 when he was cast in TA, though many people didn't really get attached to his character (he's often the butt of Avengers movie jokes)

To be fair to Renner, It was the script more than his portrayal.

You know another name I like is David Boreanaz.

Not sure but I figured since we were just throwing names around. Might be Canadian which would lead to French heritage maybe.

As a Canadian, I can't think of any Canadian actors who would fit of the top of my head. Would be a point of pride, if we as Canadians where into that lol.

Canada's ethnography is actually quite diverse, much like the US. There's only a certain segment of the population (roughly 16%) that owes its heritage to France.

The name Boreanaz is of Northern Italian origin, by the way.

You guys think they're looking at Gerard Butler? He's obviously worked with WB and Snyder on 300. He's what now? 43? And was it his choice to not be part of Rise of an Empire? Maybe because he had something else coming up. Something his ol' buddy Zack told him about. Not sure he can lose the accent, but he's not a horrible choice.

They have been filming Rise of an Empire for a long fricken' time. During man of Steel I think. They probably had secret palns (Goyer and mabey Snyder) but nothing fleshed out enough to tell anyone about. That being said, I hope it's not Butler. I like him, but he just is'nt right for me personally.

Ben Stiller would be perfect. He coud stop evil-doers with the magic of Magnum.
