As long as it isn't Bale cause WF w/Bale is basically a Batman film.

Knowing WB, WF w/o Bale will likely turn into mostly a Batman film, but at least there is more of a chance Superman gets equal footing.

To paraphrase a quote from the 300's - the world awoke and found itself Arian - so audiences may awake and find WF the Batman reboot film.

I could see Cumberbatch as Lex or Braniac possibly, but I'm not sure I could see him as Bruce/Batman.

one of those right over our heads type of suggestions. i really want him to be j'onn and a lot of people think he'd also be a great braniac. if he got cast as luthor or braniac, the man would be on his way to assembling an enviable resume as a baddie. khan. the necromancer. luthor. sheesh.

To be honest, I think Cumberbatch would make a better Victor Freeze if they ever portray that character correctly.

Imagine though? How off the wall that would be? He doesn't look like Bruce but that ability to play someone highly intelligent with a Sherlock Holmes mind, can come off as a badass fighter like with Khan, that menacing voice, the attachment to WB via Hobbit. I mean, it makes sense. But he's better suited for a villain like Brainiac or Freeze.

Great actor but he's not Batman. Brainiac is ideal. I'd take him over some dirty brown water trash like Armitage, though.
