As someone who followed the Bat Trilogy quite a bit I remember the day I heard about Ledger, I remember the days of the virals, I remember staying up for the MTV trailer (in the UK that was HARD work), heck I remember the exact day when people crapped themselves about Catwoman's first pic. But are people really going to be saying "I remember when I heard that Bradley Cooper was approached by Marvel to voice a Raccoon".

Basically how the **** can El maythingymabob think that this news was worthy of the following tweets...

I think that will always be my favorite scoop simply because it really had nothing to with what anyone was anticipating. And the clenched butt cheeks.

I've only heard of the guy, I've not actually been around when he has had a "scoop" so with the build up I thought he may have had something decent. I mean sure, it is a scoop but to say Every trade reporter wanted this story? Like he tweeted? No.

So now I have first hand experience of the guy and now know to just sit back and laugh.

That tells me he was more concerned with getting the story as opposed to its value to his audience .

The guy who would probably make the perfect Bruce Wayne is Ethan Hawke. I don't think he could pull off Batman, but oh man....the idea of him and Henry on the same screen together is delicious.

Odd. I think he could pull off Batman but not sure about Bruce Wayne. Anyways on twitter and some websites supposedly Snyder has met with him about a role and speculation is that it is for Batman. However if such a meeting took place it could have been for any role. Lex, Brainiac, Metallo, etc... would seem as likely as him playing Batman. meh. http://www.kpopstarz.com/articles/38408/20130820/batman-vs-superman-cast.htm Not saying I believe this site, as it also suggests Ben Affleck will consider playing Batman. I just don't believe it since he's doing well directing and we all know how Daredevil turned out with him as the lead. I'm sure he has reservations about playing a superhero again.

It was seriously a horrible scoop. Horrible fanmade trailer too.

If Cooper is playing him then fine, I get it (or do I?). I still think the hyping was ******ed, but it doesn't mean he's wrong about casting. If Cooper is Rocket Raccoon and in a month or so he breaks a Batman scoop, ill wait for it and give him the benefit of the doubt. Im still a fan of his because he seems to be a cool guy with me and ive had quite a few back and forths with him in the past about certain things so that's why I always defend him. I still believe his early year scoop about Bale and know for a fact that he broke the Ledger + Khan stuff.

But im not afraid to call him on his **** either. Ive done it early in the year with his lame wonder woman thing.

Im still waiting to see about his Batman scoop, if he gets one. Otherwise yeah I understand everyones frustrations now. His hyping up little scoops is quite funny, even if every trade was trying to get at Guardians (which I sort of understand, but come on!)
