This arc was a total letdown. I liked how it started, but the ending sucked. I hate that lame cliche of leaving a character's status up in the air for a few months and then bringing them back all dramatically. I can tell that's what they've got planned for Damien. Lame.

i don't necesarily hate him. he's got potential in the right hands. i just don't like what's been done with him so far.

The ending was quite lack-luster, but I'm hoping it just feeds into a larger plot Morrison has going, rather than just pulling another Hush.

i don't recall him saying that. he said something about finding out if the kid would be a recurring character in the bat-universe, but he didn't say anything about faking the kid's death only to bring him back later like some kind of hush bull****.
