Batman Forever or the Dark Knight

This thread is based for a response between people to find out which the SSH community thinks is better...Im just gonna put mine out first...


Batman Forever is the Best Batman movie ever to be made (based off of the ones i have seen)...the character build is great and the back story is great...i love the portrayal of all the characters and also the Riddler and two Face make such a great team of epicness and overall entertainment...i gotta give Batman Forever a rating 10 times better than that of the BORING and Lame Excuse for an entertaining batman movie...however just letting it known that i have nothing against the outstanding performance by Heath Ledger (That Dead Guy) LOL...dead.............."Put that in your pipe and smoke it"

Batman Forever seemed to be similar to the 60's Batman TV show. I unfortunately bought a ticket to see it back in 1995, and I knew that if this was where they were going to take the Batman movies, that it would completely suck.

Let me give you some advice, Harken, if you have an unpopular opinion (as you do here) it's a good idea to stay as mature and respectful as possible.

I understand what you're getting at, yes, Heath is no more special or talented because he died young, despite the fact that many fanboys will have you believe otherwise. He is like all those people that die everyday, but you have to remember that bad mouthing or trivializing the deaths on ANYONE around people who care about them will result in a backlash, and they will be right to do so.

I personally disliked The Dark Knight for being too dark and too serious. I disliked Forever for it being a VERY mediocre Jim Carrey vehicle. I dislike the look of Ledger's Joker. I dislike the look of Jone's Two-Face. I disliked both Kilmer's and Bale's Batmen (though I feel Kilmer had the best Bruce Wayne). I like The Dark Knight more than Forever simply because it is, on the whole the better movie.

HEY>>>I AM NOT A FANBOY...i would kill myself if i were...this thread was a spawn of a fight between my friend (a fanboy) and me (a nerd) ya a nerd...i would rather be a nerd anyday than some peice of crap fanboy thats life revolves around watching movies and wasting money on posters and figurines to shove up my ass for pleasure...while dating my best friend just because we have similar intrests in movie...oh and did i mention dressing up in costumes, roleplaying and getting off from comics...fanboys make me sick

Ok...i respect your oppinion....also id like to point out that this was a dare from a friend...he was telling me this would get me killed by some crazed fan... and i told him otherwise...however i really like Jim carrey and his antics which is most likely why i enjoyed the movie...so i geuss i could have been a bit harsh...and ya your right it is a tastless joke...simply looking for a response

Okay. Edumacation time.

Nerds are people who are smart and not socially comfortable (i.e. they'd use better grammar).
Fanboys are people who will make arguments for what they are fans (read: FANatics) of, no matter how unreasonable their arguments might be (regardless of the validity of the point they're trying to make). They also tend to result in personal insults.

Let's think about this for a moment.
