batman mask

I got bored and started a batman mask/bust I have to finish the neck and I noticed alot of uneveness due to my crappy lighting but here you go after 3 hours of work and many many more to go

Very cool! I think the mouth could be a little wider. It looks like it would really hinder jaw movement right now.

I will be using foam mask latex when I cast it so it will be very flexible

thanks between the movie I'm working on and my personal life its hard doing just for fun projects I'll post pics when I feel its 75% done when its done then the mold then a finished mask then the ebay link when I sell the bust and the masks

here is an update all that's lefty to do is smooth it out and cast it

no I use a mask armature and sculpt on that then when its done i make a mold of that and pop that off and clean it out then put it back together and pour mask latex into it bake that then peel it out and bam! instant batman mask

my marv appliance for halloween did a little test photo it's my take on the comic version not the sin sity version

WOW! the marv is fantastic

bats looking good - only thing i would change would be to make the mouth opening much wider like in the comics

the mask armature's mouth is really big so on a normal person the mouth part will be a little bigger and when you talk it will move with your face and thanks for the marv compliment I'll have a halloween pic asap

did you have bandaids all over the face of marv? (ive only seen the film)

I didn't take it as a crit no worries and no no bandaids it took away from all the detail i put in

Neat mask, but I do have to make an observation. It almost looks like bats is smiling from the way the structure is made. Still cool, though!
