Agreed. I thought Arnold Schwarzenegger was 6"3-6"4 for many years as they always portrayed him as huge in films, but he doesn't look much more than a 5"10 or so in reality.

Although I will admit, Joe Manganiello is claimed as 6"5 and I'd fully believe it, he's a BIG dude. He was one of my top choices for the new Batman actor. Chris Hemsworth and Channing Tatum don't normally look small next to other guys...

He's standing closer to the camera too. Makes him seem taller

Noticeably? Not really. Costner does have a large noggin though. They look pretty much the same in terms of height. And who knows what kind of shoes each is wearing.


And Henry's taller than Lutz (who's height is often listed as 6' to 6'1 by the way, rather than 5'11):

I've noticed that there are quite a few people with an axe to grind. I have no idea exactly how tall Cavill is because I unfortunately haven't gotten close enough to measure his height but his height is fine for Superman. If you wanted a 6'4" actor in the role tough cookies because Cavill is Superman.

And if Batman is taller than Superman? Whatever! It's not the end of the world because Superman still looks like a big, powerful guy just like in the comics.

There are many things I want them to focus on in this movie rather than those two inches Cavill is missing.
