People act like Cavill is a midget or something. It's so bizarre. 6'1'' is actually pretty tall. I could see throwing a fit if he was 5'7'' or something, but when he's only missing 2 bloody inches and looks exactly like the character in every other way...why make a stink?

And if Batman is taller than Superman? Whatever! It's not the end of the world because Superman still looks like a big, powerful guy just like in the comics.

There are many things I want them to focus on in this movie rather than those two inches Cavill is missing.

If one doesn't like him in the role based on performance fair enough but this height stuff is nit picky fanboy ********. As you said, it's not like the guy is Tom Cruise sized. Hugh Jackman looks nothing like comicbook Wolverine and most rightfully don't give a crap because he's awesome in the role but I'm supposed to give a crap about a guy who looks exactly like Superman playing Superman because of a couple of inches? I don't think so.

From here Ben clearly looks taller than Hugh.

About a half inch to an inch taller. Affleck is 6'3 from what I understand and Jack is 6'2 or 6'3.

This is actually the reason for the delay. It's going to take months to figure out how to resolve the issue.

After looking at some photos of affleck with other celebs, he actually doesn't seem to be a "tall" 6'3" if that makes sense?

I think his height may actually be a tad bit inflated and the big height gap between him and cavill some are predicting is probably a little overrated. With the right camera angles I can honestly see them appear as almost equals in height really on screen. Unless the producers wish to emphasize a size difference between the 2 of them? but i don't see them doing so.

The camera angles you mentioned could be used and that will make Superman and Batman look the same height. The height has never been a problem in movies. and neither with that small difference of height between them.

I'm not concerned, they could make freakin Gadot appear to tower over both of them if they really wanted to. Height is not an issue in film. Even so, the height difference between Batfleck and Cavill is hardly monumental, it's not like Cavill's Stallone and Fleck is Dolph Lundgren.

Some people were making a big deal about Gal's height even. Anyone who's seen a 5'9" woman in some of those high ass heels knows how tall a woman that height can appear.


Gal is 5"+ taller than amy adams, so just picture that in this photo and you can see she'll stack up quite well height wise at least with cavill:

Gal doesn't have to be in high heels though. She shouldn't, actually. It would seem dumb for WW to wear heels with her costume. And WW is supposed to be tall anyways. It's all good.

Yeah WW is supposed to be about 6' and I know some people were actually complaining about gal being too short at 5'9"-5-10".

Even if she's not in heels if they really want her to look 6' they'll put lifts in her boots or giver her some platforms.

I would personally wish that he would be going for something like hush, but sense that will never happen I would like something like this...

It is a good compensation for both parties (ones wanting huge and other wanting slim).

That's what's a bit concerning. As i've just mentioned in the main ben thread, Mark Twight made sure cavill was done his training before filming began, due to the fact with the long shooting days cavill wouldn't have any time for any further training and proper rest anymore.

Apparently filming is just around the corner so I'm wondering how much progress we can see Ben get?

I honestly expected Ben to be able to challenge and or top Bale in Begins actually in terms of physique, just based on his natural built.
