Batman & Son, Assault on Arkham announced

I'm excited for this for sure.

Conroy is a legend, but I'm comfortable saying that I'm fine with O'mara carrying the role from here on out for this continuity of movies. He was the saving grace of the JL: War cast of voice actors (along with Flash and Cyborg's I suppose). I also like the fact that they're setting up a chronology for this new universe of movies.

Speaking of which, I'm assuming that this means that the Aquaman movie will be set in the same storyline? I could never find the supposed after-credits scene of JL: War where a hint was dropped. Also, is Flashpoint Paradox suggested to be in continuity as well since it's paralleled with the comic story that sparked these other stories? I'd like to think of this being the case.

As far as Dick vs. Tim, I don't really care either way. I like both, and haven't read the story so I'm not attached to the details of how it played out there. As long as this movie is enjoyable (which I'm sure it will be).

Why does Nightwing's costume suck so much in this?

Because you touch yourself at night.

Deathstroke is jealous of Damian, because he views Ra's as a father figure, but Ra's plans to hand the League over to Damian. =/

O'Mara kind of sounds like a younger Kevin Conroy to me.

Besides Deathstroke working with Talia briefly has he ever had a working relationship with Ra's in the comics?

I know Bane was at one point Ra's heir, but I wasn't aware that Deathstroke ever had ties to the demon's head.

Deathstroke's a mercenary, I can buy him and Ra's working together at some point. This isn't the comics, so different rules apply.

I hated O'Mara at first based on that Green Lantern/Batman meeting clip from JL: War, but he seriously grew on me by the end of War. He sounds AMAZING in what I've seen from Son of Batman. I really think he's improved from War to Son of Batman. Based on what I've heard, he's on the same level as Greenwood. O'Mara and Greenwood are Conroy's only worthy successors
Goes to show how it helps if an actor can grow into the role over a period of time. O'Mara is close to the ideal version I hear in my head (it needs a touch more Elias Toufexis to be perfect), so I'm glad he seems to be carrying the torch on the animation side. Hopefully they start nailing down all the other main heroes as well. I'm not a fan of the constant casting switches.

Working for Ra's I have no issues with. Acting like a spoiled brat and being jealous of a little kid is what I am not liking.

I think that it's more "I can't fully control Ra's organization as long as his heirs are still alive." It's ruthless practicality.

Deathstroke seems to have a deep respect for the League and feels he should rightfully command it because he was directly under Ra's. Despite Deathstroke's unwavering allegiance, Ra's wants to just pass on the League to Damian who doesn't really deserve it aside from being related by blood. Deathstroke wants Damian to prove that he's worthy of controlling the League, so I don't view it as him being jealous. I view it as him having such a deep respect and love for the League that he does not want to see it go down in flames because of an adolescent. He and Ra's have worked too hard for something like that to happen. So I can't blame Deathstroke. Okay...sure there's some apparent jealousy there, but it's understandable and coupled with other emotions and motives. Not simply just a "MINE!" situation.

This movie looks so damn good. Never read Batman & Son and I've heard mixed reviews on it so I'm interested in seeing how I'll react to this movie.

I like the art style on both JL: War and Batman & Son as I hope future DCU animated movies retain this art style. However, I'm not liking the idea of only Justice League and Batman animated movies as I hope to see more DCU animated from other characters such as Superman and Wonder Woman. Too much Batman is not a good thing as he's already overexposed than any other DCU character.

Never read the story this is based off of, but I'm sure as usual they'll of made some changes anyway. Interested in checking this out though.

None... and you probably shouldn't expect any news until late April at the earliest.

All we know for sure at the moment is that Jay Oliva is directing and it features King Shark and Harley Quinn.

For real? Not Tiger Shark or Great White Shark?

Although it looks like all the films are in a moving forward fashion.... a film on "The Killing Joke" would be amazing!
