Oh my gosh! I just had a revelation! I recently purchased the oneshot "Batman vs Doc Savage" a good team up. I got to thinking. Why didn't dc think of this? They have a successful run of Batman/Superman. Now, think about the impact The Shadow and Doc Savage (respectively) had on Batman and Superman. They were like direct precursors of them. And they too have teamed up. Including times during dc publication. Why havent people put all four of them together before? Its perfect! Like on two teams. Either divided up Batman and Shadow / Superman and Doc or Batman and Superman/ Shadow and Doc. Can you picture it?:yay:

I have problems with a "Doc Savage'/"Shadow" teamup; simply because of the nature of the two characters. "The Shadow" beleives in "direct action" (i e a bullet) to combat crime while "Doc" is more into "rehabilitation" ( a "delicate brain operation" to remove a persons criminal tendencies). The idea of a confrontation leading to a team up has already been explored in a two parter from "Dark Horse" some years ago actually.

"delicate brain operation"?! WTF is this, identity crisis? this needs to be explored in first wave; does doc savage have a hidden nature, one which is a tad...unsavoury?

theyve also teamed up in dc before. I have no question about their ability to team up. Its been done many times. Its the two ;groups Id like to see
