It turns out I'm already adding Batwoman to my Bat-titles list along with Red Robin and at least an issue or two of Inc. I'd say that's more than enough Bat-titles for me.

I am buying this for two reasons:

1. It's Bruce Wayne

2. i like Finch's art...and he and Batman were made for each other.

Personally, I wish Finch were doing Batman Inc. instead, but i'll buy it and keep buying it if it dosent suck.

What is it with DC and giving artists writing duties on major franchises without proof of their skills? And neither Finch, nor Daniel are that great artists, so are they sleeping with Didio or something?

They just know those books will sell regardless, the artists probably want to write, and it's probably one less check they have to bother about printing/writing.

Batgirl, and Birds of Prey are must reads IMO.

I'm sure they get paid more for writing and drawing. I guess its like you said, these books will sell anyway and i am sure that Finch and Daniel are fairly cheap. Hell, most writers and artists would do it for free if they could. I mean... its a batman book!

Yeah, I didn't mean they'd get paid less, just that they would probably get paid in one check for both, and DC wouldn't have to do a separate check for writer and artist. I was being pretty much literal with that

I wonder how the rates for writer/artists compare to the separate rates for writers and artists. Like, would you pay slightly less for one guy doing both on a series than a separate guy handling each?

While Batgirl isn't the best Bat-book by far, it is the most fun by a mile. And what the hell do you have against the greatness that is Gail Simone?

As for BoP, i read a couple of issues and it was bad. Other people who persevered woot said that it was horrible.

Because I think now a days, people should read books that are simply fun instead of generic Batman book #1,529.
