You clearly don't get how he meant it. The perception is directly responsible for the 39%.
That's your bias attempting to justify it.

Perception is everything.
Perception has nothing to do with the 39% right now.
It is these days.

I imagine some people around here forget these exist and don't bother acknowledging them.
The BOF review was good actually. Basically says it's darker than expected, good overall but feels like there's too much going on. I can see that being the consensus.
"Snyder's action sequences are a major disappointment"...This is why just because someone went to the effort of posting a review doesn't mean it's worth anyone's time.
From a lot of people who seem to abjectly hate the movie, they've mostly grudgingly admitted that it's visually good. This is a fantastic example of someone who clearly had a preconceived idea of what they were going to write before the movie came out, pretty much patronizing the reader and deriding the actors and characters throughout.

For those of you who keep throwing around the word "bias"...

"Bi" meaning two and "as" meaning butt. If someone is biased they have two butts
This guy gets it!!!

Exactly...it becomes a bit of a can of worms if you really get into it, but I'm talking generally here...the most comics accurate suit, a Batman who has lived similar experiences as the Batman of the comics (faced the rogues gallery, dead Robin, etc.), "Batgod" level fighting and detective skills.
That's not to say there won't be some changes made, in fact from the sounds of if there's at least one very controversial choice.
