I'll scan it for you later. Basically what happens is Batman jumps on Joker, who's trying to make a getaway in a car on a bridge. Joker is well able to hold his own against Batman, and punches and kicks Bats, and then pushes him off the bridge.

Joker is well known for withstanding ALOT of punishment from Batman, and still remaining conscious. My favourite example being the beating he took in Knightfall, when Batman was pumped up on Scarecrow's fear gas, and had visions of Joker killing Jason Todd.

Batman beat the living hell out of Joker, and he was still standing.

are we forgeting the TDK pic? im sure the joker will do some damage but there was that pic released of joker kicking the s**t out batman and two of his goons in clown masks were holding him.

But weapons and tricks are just a part of his bag. Physically at times Joker has gotten some good punches in there. And he does get his butt handed to him by Bats a lot.

But Joker can hurt the Knight a lot. He messes him up so bad mentally it does weaken Bats at times. Then Joker can throw some good punches in.

But usually Joker always has a weapon.

Like my plastic surgeon always said, if your going to go. Go with a smile!

Like many have said, Joker is fast, ruthless, has cat-like reflexes, and a penchant for avoiding death (just look at the prologue, where he haphazardly avoids the shotgun blasts of the bank manager.) Over and over again in the comics, we see that Joker gets away (or get the upper hand) through a combination of cheating, weaponry, and simply possessing a high sense of "anticipation" - i.e., he knows exactly what's going on around him at all times.

So, while TDK Joker probably couldn't stand up in a straight-on fight against Batman (who could, anyway?), I think we can assume their first meeting goes Joker's way. If the rumors are true, and Joker is related to the destruction of the Tumbler and Batman nearly drowning/changing suits, it means he must make quite an impact.

Interesting note: as we see from his first appearance, Joker and Batman's first fight ends with a car getting destroyed (by careening into the water) and Batman physically falling into the water. Who wants to bet that the Tumbler is destroyed in much the same manner (albeit more explosively), and Batman nearly "drowning" (if true) are all inspired from this scene? Seems a little convenient.

My guess is Batman is caught off guard and one of Joker's goons sneaks up behind him. The Joker takes this opportunity to attack Batman.

That pic is so poorly composed... not good at all.

Does anyone else find that extensive hand-to-hand combat with the Joker might be a little silly? I mean, BB established that Bruce Wayne is a bad-ass ninja. In the film, he jacks up a ****load of armed goons; he also jacks a ****load of OTHER FAWKING NINJAS. So how is it that one of Joker's goons is going to go Macho Man Savage on this ninja? And as for the Joker's kick -- isn't Bats' suit made out of some titanium ****? Surely he has a cup on!

I'm not really concerned about this, given what we've seen of Batman's interrogation of the Joker. It looks like B fawks Mr. J up pretty good, only to have the Joker mock him with the lip-smacking and puppy dog-eyes. Which seems to indicate that being a badass ninja ain't cock compared to being a remorseless, DIY murderer.

Dude its just a still screenshot. Just because theres a goon on him doesnt mean hes gonna get his ass kicked. After joker kicks him, batman probably knocks both of them to the floor. Well the goon at least

Hell yes. But I wanna to see how that particular scene ends. That thug and Joker should be knocked the hell out after this fight. Or maybe another thug has a gun on someone, so Bats can't really do anything without them getting popped.
