It wasn't from TDK, and I don't remember if it was even Hans Zimmer. I think it was from the 9th Gate.

Yes, it was from the 9th Gate, and it was composed by Wojciech Kilar.

Yeah, I heard that too. What I wanna know is what bit of what we have heard already is he gonna use to spin off into a new theme. Makes me listen to everything in the movie and imagine where it could go.

Dude, that mix is pretty awesome. You should definitely try to incorporate the end credits theme into that. That is by far the best piece of music out of the entire soundtrack. Definitive Batman theme, I think. But yeah, that mix is kickass.

That's pretty good.

I remember reading an article saying that batman will get a new theme, were as batman begins was an origin story, TDK will be diffrent, I assume it will have more grandeur.

Although that last part of the music, in the teaser, reminded me of Joker and it'd be pretty interesting where they take that. That sound was in BB, as well, if I recall correctly.

The oscillation in the trailer music (which i'm guessing is to represent the joker) sounds like the laughing box found on Mr Napier at the end of 89.

I love the idea of batmans theme developing as the films go on, but they really need to deliver something memorable this time.

I remember Zimmer stating in an interview that he had introduced a theme at the end of BB that he intended to use and develop in TDK. My question is, which theme was it.

I am a big fan of the BB sound-track, and I personally believe that the song on the second link was so underused in BB. It was also the first song that played when the credits rolled.

What do you all think?

It makes sense it being Molossus because it featured heavily in the trailer. I know they wouldn't be using that exact one, but if that's what they're evolving then I think it would be a sensible bet

Got no speakers to this computer but I think it's the theme thats played when you first see batman in BB, in the docks when he lifts Falcone up from the car, you know "I am Batman!"
