The Dark Knight Batmobile To Go BOOM!?

I love the tumbler but I'd like to see a new batmobile or a Bat cycle

The tumbler will get destroyed by a missile launcher by one of Joker's goons while Batman is chasing after them in their getaway school bus.

Oh god no explode please how could you, the tumbler destroyed by a missile launcher? I think the tumbler can withstand a rocket launcher just fine. The idea brings me memories somehow of batman returns.
Heck all of this tumbler blown up thing brings me memories of BR i hope that if it does get blown up they give us a very good reason and not just some joker thug blowing it up.

Well I guess if it cant get destroyed by a rocket launcher maybe it shall blow up by falling off a cliff. Or can it fly now? Or AMH as the assumed Riddler finds his way into the Batcave and drops some riddle bombs into it.

depends where the rocket hits the tumbler.

but lets be honest here. its f.... nolan. he will not have a scene where the joker with a big gun shoots down teh batwing.

i think it the tumbler scene will be logical.

Well it can atleast in the armored parts( I asume, I don't have proof but no one has proof of the opposite either)(Besides it a hightech millitary vehicle its supposed to resist certain kinds of attacks) but if it hits the tires it will lose control,flip and what not. The thing is that I woudn't really want to see that happening I think bats will be too smart to not think someone will try that sooner or later specially with the escalation issue and all, so I think he would be prepared for that. But who knows

I think you misunderstood when I said flip and such I obviously don't have to state that the tires will blow up. Iam not saying they won't of course they will if that's what you meant.
But my statement was about the armor being resistant to certain attacks or maybe bruce knowing and anticipating bigger attacks since he knows of the escalation he would maybe update the tumbler with better armor. This is just an idea Iam talking about possiblities.

Oh and by the way lets put this clear, when I answered to your post I didn't mean to insult or undermine your opinion in any way possible. just in case(sometimes things get misinterpreted) I said it in a lighthearted mood I was stating that I didn't want the tumbler to get blown by a rocket launcher. But something more elaborate something that even batman could not anticipate, you know something that the joker would come up with and take bats out of balance

Well yea that's the thing you just answered the question yourself.

But since bats has matured and undestands now that no matter how good and how well trained he is, he most not underestimate his opponents. But with the joker it will be different since he's nothing like the guys batman has faced before, and therefore that will be the real challenge.

Maybe bats will think he has everything under control but joker will come up with something that would never come to batman's mind.

So pehaps the joker will do something to the tumbler that will be something out of left field and would make us say "damn I didn't see that one coming". That's the joker's twisted brilliance right there. What will or could it be? I have no idea but that's nolan's challenge to brainstorm something only the joker would comeup with. If you know what I mean.

The Joker could pull some crazy trick out of nowhere and somehow, in some way, have the Tumbler going out of control.

You never know. I'm hoping to be surprised. If anything, I don't want to hear any precise, in-depth details as to how the Tumbler is going to 'boom!'

No I don't know no one should know, the joker should be unpredictable that's the surprise element of him.
Atleast in certain aspects like what's he's offensive gonna be. That's part of what makes him batman's more formidable opponent. That he cannot anticipate all of jokers moves cause he doesn't think like a normal criminal would. Thats one of the most important things I want Nolan to capture about the character .
