The Dark Knight Batmobile To Go BOOM!?

and this story matches up with what an old toy showed us, the batpod coming out of the tumbler !

yes it is very drivable if your on a straight road, but it doesn't handle well, as in left and right as i said, a bit of a stunt risk for such complex scene, but hey call me a liar i dont mind, you'll see the film soon enough.
I've got nothing to gain by sharing this information with you, so why would i want to lie and waste my time, no worries mate, it happens.

peace.
TheQuietKnight.

Yeah, the Batpod doesn't look like it's going to win any road course races anytime soon. Like you said, anything on a straight road isn't an issue, but I'd imagine that anything that involves complex turns is out of the question without CGI.

In the Trailer, sounds like the Batmobile will go BOOM.

In the trailer, I also noticed that after the Joker says "Go!" with his hand stretched out, the Tumbler is basically 'morphing' (I'm at a loss of words).

Perhaps this is when the Batpod emerges?

No, it's not morphing into anything. Thats just the canopy on the Tumbler closing. But what is interesting in that scene is Batman sporting his "Begins" suit.

Maybe that scene of Batman getting in the Tumbler is when he's going after Scarecrow in the parking garage.

Welll....i assume the guy is right......look between 1.58 and 2.02 in the last trailer.....the Tumbler taking the rocket is obvious (quick shots though but by slowing it down it's pretty clear......):woot::cwink::cwink:

Awesome scene IMO !!!! Can't wait to see it fully !!!!:brucebat:

So it appears from the trailer it appears that the Joker is firing at a Gotham PD van (number 18-811) and that the tumbler launches itself inbetween?

I'm sorry if this has been known/discussed, I've been avoiding spoilers...

Also, do we know if this is the same as the footage from Wizard World?

EDIT: Just read the spoiler... Guess the trailer confirms it, eh? Damn, I've been holding out hope, I love that car...

We'll probably get a new one in 3. I don't see Nolan giving Bats a Batmobile from the comics.

Then it would be utterly pointless to get rid of the very car that utilizes that concept.

I want a batplane for the third one !!!!!!!!:hehe::hehe::hehe:

properly done it could fit in the nolan world !

with what that other poster said about the tumbler morphing, i can see that happening, but bats will have his begins suit, thus after riding the pod, he either crashes and messes up his begins suit, or just needs a newer suit, to suit his needs to ride the batpod better. speculation of course.

So is it true then that The Joker uses a rocket launcher on The Tumble during Car case ?

Yeah you see it in the trailers, that guy was spot on. Only thing he seems to be wrong about is the CGI use.

i dont think this is when the tumbler is destroyed. i believe its destroyed after carshing into the semi

it makes sense actually, when the tumbler begins to transform, im guessing that the seat would do the same thing as what happens in begins, when batman is on the roof of the carpark and switches to weapon mode, and moves into a similar position to how he is on the batpod.
