Speaking of the Batpod,I think it is really really lame how Batman controls it by using those curved pieces that he has to pretty much put his arms in,once he doe's that that's when the Batpod steers. Again,Nolan unfortunately uses another lame Batman vehicle design,too obssessed with realism?

You seriously think the Batpod's design is realistic? Heck, they had to get a specialized motorcycle stunt driver to drive the thing. Nobody else could handle it. I highly doubt that it's "realistic" in any sense of the word.

It looks cool, sure. But that's why most gadgets exist in movies nowadays anyway.

I personally think this name is flat out lame. I wished since the beginning that they wouldnt name stuff with "bat" infront of it. Its just too plain and not original.

I love the batpod itself, just hate the name. What's wrong with calling it the bat-cycle? Wouldn't that have made more sense? It looks much more like a cycle than a "pod". Not a change that's going to make or break the movie for me, though. Just one of those nitpicky little things that I'd change if I were the one making the film.

I was sold on the Batpod once I saw him powerslide around the Joker in Trailer #2. That shot was too great for words. I love it and I'm cool with the name. It's not a big freaking deal. Very nitpicky.

I don't mind the Batpod, in both name and design, but it's definitely not what I would've done.

I would've gone with a more traditional style racing motorcycle, just because I always thought Bats looked cool riding it in BTAS and such. He just doesn't look as cool in the almost lying-down position of the Batpod.

As for the name, again, I don't mind it, I just don't see how or why it popped into Nolan (or whoever)'s head. It's very, very random.

Haven't read all the other posts so I don't really know the argument. That said I said it was ok in the poll. They have to call it something. I guess he could just call it his motorcyle, but that doesn't really properly describe it. It is more of a pod. The only thing that keeps me from loving it is it reminds me of an apple product. I'm sure it will make sense. Fox will probably just introduce it as, "here you are Bruce...it's called the batpod". Something to that effect.
