The Dark Knight Batpod Name Official

I know theres already a thread on the batpod but thats long gone and I wanted to focus more on what people think of the name

Well its official its called the "batpod" because

at the end of the trailer alfred asks bruce if he wants to take the batpod

I personally think this name is flat out lame. I wished since the beginning that they wouldnt name stuff with "bat" infront of it. Its just too plain and not original. They didnt name the tumbler the "batmobile" so why do they have to name his bike the batpod?

I AGREE,calling the Batcycle a Batpod is lame. It's a freaking Batcycle,
not an Ipod in a shape of a bat,ugh!

Speaking of the Batpod,I think it is really really lame how Batman controls it by using those curved pieces that he has to pretty much put his arms in,once he doe's that that's when the Batpod steers. Again,Nolan unfortunately uses another lame Batman vehicle design,too obssessed with realism? Yes he is,and it's getting annoying to be honest IMO. I liked BB but damn it,he must remember to make Batman movies with the cool factor!

Well you do know Nolan referred to the Batmobile as "The Tumbler" in BB, I guess you didn't like that as well? In that case you should've saw this coming a mile away that he was going to rename the bike.

I think the names alright. As far as we know that scene with Alfred could be the only scene where it's actually referred to as the batpod.

No offense,but just because I liked BB,it doesn't mean that I won't ever
question Nolan's choices each time he want's to be involved in making a Batman movie.

Well you know we haven't seen too much of it in action, but from the trailers it doesn't seem like it will look very silly in the film. And I have a feeling Bruce may do a test drive with it like in BB maybe, they may show how it handles.
